1.) Washington recieves Nerlens Noel, 76ers recieves Otto Porter, Pelicans recieves Marcin Gortat. Omer Asik get’s released by either Washington or Philadelphia. Philadelphia a protected 1st round pick from Washington

2.) Atlanta recieves Ricky Rubio, Minnesota recieves Paul Millsap and Dennis Schroder

3.) Miami Heat recieves Rudy Gay and Darren Collinson, Sacromento recieves Goran Dragic

4.) Pheonix Suns recieves Demarcus Cousins, Sacromento recieves Brandon Knight, future 1st round picks, Alex Len, and Dragan Bender

What do y’all think of these trade ideas?

     1) Nay – Getting Nerlens Noel isn’t worth giving up a starter in Otto Porter and a 1st round pick.

    2) Hell No

    3) I think this trade works for both teams, but I highly doubt it happens, especially with Collinson’s bball future on hold right now.

    4) Pre-draft, this would’ve looked like a decent trade for the Kings, but after summer league and preseason, it’s obvious that Bender is FAR away from contributing to winning right now.  In this trade the Kings would give up their franchise player for a solid PG that would only stay a few more years, 1st round draft picks that would probably be in the late teens to 20’s (a core of Bledsoe, Booker, Chriss, and Cousins would be solid), a project in Bender, and an average player in Len.  While this haul would be better than nothing for Cousins, I would hope they can find a better offer for the sake of the fans in Sacramento.

The only one with a chance of happening would be Gay+Collison for Dragic. To echo Bankroll PJ, 2 is a definite hell no. What is your reasoning behind this? Why would Atlanta trade its best front court player in Millsap and a young, up and coming PG in Schroeder straight up for Rubio? Doesn’t make any sense.

#1 – Id pull the trigger

#2 – You must be one of those screaming. 13yo Rubio fanatics who waited an hour for a autograph after a Barcelona game to think this is a fair deal.

#3 – Seems plausible but I still take Dragic. Gay doesnt have enough fire in his belly to make me want to go to battle with him each night and Collison level PGs can otherwise come free elsewhere.

#4 – These types trades are hard to evaluate and usually the consequences of getting it wrong are severe. And since Boogie is one giant red flag, it seems that the risk outweighs the reward of the trade. If rather just let Boogie be someone elses problem, because I could live with not making that trade.

1st) I do not think any of these things will happen. Just want y’all opinion on if these are fair deals for both parties.

2nd) #1 answers the Rubio question. No I’m not a Rubio fanatic that want his jersey sign, I’m not the type of person that want a signed jersey. Millsap can opt out this year, the Hawks have to make some sort of move. The Hawks might not get anyone if they don’t make a move. The only team that I can see making a deal that I fell may be fair at that time is Rubio. No other team have the pieces, only if you have what Boston have.  that is as good as Rubio. Let,s look at the contenders for the playoffs. List/name them if you have a decent trade proposal and the players that might get traded.

I usually leave the trade scenarios up to  the virtual GMs on this forum.

But Milsap is better than half the PFs that have bigger profiles than him.

Hes got a 3-year contracts worth of max-level play in him. Hed be going to Minny to help them make the playoffs…but then what?

If he wants to stay in Atlanta….they should give him anywhere up to 30m per season.

And Kris Dunn is far from proven. In fact hes over rated by college bball fans. Lets just see whether hes a starting calibre PG of the future before trading for a Milsap rental.

Id like to see the Jazz trade Gordan Hayward to Boston. The Jazz dont need him. Boston has so many assets that its a shoppers market, but I like Jaylen Brown.

Hes different to Hood and Lyles. Ive seen enough playmaking in preseason from Hill and Exum that Hayward is surplus…plus Joe Johnson is still good for 15mpg

If the Jazz got Brown, theyd have a lot of positional versatility.

For Millsap they’d be wanting high draft picks or young players on the upswing. Rubio fits none of these criteria. They also lose front court depth. I’m not proposing any counter trade because short of someone offering a superstar for Millsap, he ain’t going anywhere. I think he believes he owes Atlanta a lot and I think he will resign.

That Milsap + Schroder trade was so out of pocket tho. Straight disrespectful. They gave up Teague because they think Schroder is the future. And Milsap (even on a contract year) is an all-star. Top 6 or 7 at his position. You don’t package him with your PG of the future for Ricky Rubio.

    Other trades are meh.
