WVU Freshman Eron Harris
I like his demeanor. He struggled his last season of high school and it put a chip on his shoulder and I love that. I don't see an NBA prospect at this point in time (short for a SG, not a PG at all), but he's going to be a really good college player.
I agree that at this point, he is not an NBA player.. Also, I have seen some PG skills in his game but right now, he cant play point..
I am not comparing the 2 but Russel Westbrook was never a PG until the NBA.. So, it could happen.. (bias fan statement)
Of course the game I make a post about him he decides to have a horrible first half.. LoL
Aaric Murray too.
I agree.. I thought he and Muary would be great but they are both coming off the bench and we are actually better when they are out of the game.. I am happy to see the 2 freshmen and Jabari finaly coming around though.. Nice win with Texas.. Their record isnt that good but we have to win against them or we look bad..

I would like to draw the board attention to the player that is probably the lone bright spot in WVU's season thus far. It is freshman guard Eron Harris.. He has only started the past 6 games of the year because of a number of reasons but regardless, Harris has made the most of his PT and looks the be the future of the team. There are other notable players such as freshman guard Terry Henderson and Transfers Juwan Staten and Aric Muary..
Eron Harrs is a 6'2 SG with nice lenght and is a great shooter from deep. He is a true freshman from the state of Indiana. I have never researched his HS career but I can tell by watching, he was well coached.. He really works hard on defense and has shown the ability to score. Also, I dont know how clutch he actually is but he has hit lots of big shots for the Eers and never looked rattled..
I just want to look at his last 6 games.
Harris's last 6 games:
Iowa State - 17 points, 5 rebounds, 4-7 from 3pt.
Purdue - 10 points, 5 rebounds, 2 steals
TCU - 19 points 3 rebounds, 2 assist, 2-3 from 3pt.
Oklahoma State - 17 points, 5-8 fro 3pt, guraded Marcus Smart all night.
Kansas - 2 points, 2 rebounds, 2 steals, guarded McLemore all night.
Texas Tech - 18 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assist, 3-9 from 3pt.
Huggins has just started calling plays for him. I know he is small for a 2 guard but he is fun to watch and he gives me hope as a WVU fan..
Catch him on tonight vs Texas at home. 9 on ESPN.
