DanEboyParticipantI guess playoffs mean a lot considering every player on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd team made the playoffs.
He had a great year but who do you take off? Bogut? Amare?

itsOvaParticipantyea, I was pissed off for the same reason
I think he should replace Gasol in the 3rd team, regardless of the raptors did not make the playoff
hope this does not become one more reason for him to leave TO.0 - Posted on: Thu, 05/06/2010 - 10:19am #305485

llperezwhat i find disturbing is some of the guys who didnt make any of the three teams but still got votes. CP3 got 14 votes by playing half a season? Mo Will, Tony Parker, Marcus Camby, Kevin Garnett, Danny Granger and David West were all voted onto the all nba teams by at least 1 voter. That’s disrespectful to not only to all the very deserving guys who got in, but the great ones who missed out like Chris Bosh. Not trying to knock those guys, but no way did any of them earn all-nba votes. If I were in charge of the nba, I would take these dudes and take their votes away along with the one guy who voted david lee onto the all nba defensive team.

Specialt25ParticipantThe system is retarded. Why is it that they need to make the playoffs for them to be on an all NBA team.
This is an individual award not a “team” award. They need to stop “only” awarding players who are on winning teams. Its not the players fault that the management doesnt surround them with great quality players.
Its a shame that Chris Bosh who is arguably the best PF in the league isnt even mention on 3 of the ALL NBA teams.
I can only name 2 other PF who played as good as bosh this year. ITS Dirk and Amare.
I wouldve replaced Bogut easily for Bosh if u ask me.

llperezi would put bosh over bogut as well, but the all nba teams are pretty strict to the book about positions. 2 forwards, 2 gaurds and 1 center. Bosh played forward and bogut played center. If bosh was gonna make the team, he would have to replace one of the 6 forwards who were :Lebron James, Kevin Durant, Carmelo Anthony, Dirk Nowitzki, Pau Gasol and Tim Duncan. Bosh wasnt clearly better then any of those 6 guys.

armanthe thing is if toronto was 8th in east i think that everybody would say bosh was the best pf this season…. by his stats he isnt far away from it…. im gonna say bosh was the best pf this season better then nowitzki, duncan, gasol… he carried that weak toronto team who shoudl be threat in east with hedo who didnt do anything this season… if he stayed healthy at the end of season and they made it to playoff he would be for shure second team

llperezyou could defenitely argue he was better then pau, amare, duncan, dirk, but he wasnt clearly better then any of them. Keep in mind, those guys all put up numbers while having to share the ball with more talented teamates and they all made the playoffs which does count for something. Pau is very versatile and even when he was in memphis and didnt have a singel other all-star around him, he got them to the playoffs 3 straight years in a west that was tougher then this years east. Im not dissin bosh, but you guys acting like it was straight up robbery, well, i disagree.
