marcusfizer21ParticipantI know it probably means less because anything can happen in the playoffs but wow… My Chicago Bulls own the best record in the league… A big congratulations and hats off to the boys and their coach… At the beginning of the season, I knew the Bulls would be a top 4 team in the east when they landed Boozer and a bunch of solid role players in Korver, Watson, Thomas and Brewer… I expected them to win 50-57 games at best… I’m somewhat surprised to see them being the no. 1 but I’m happy… This season has been unbelievable and I know fellow Bulls fans hadn’t seen this one coming though… Completely dumbfounded..woooo!

RUDEBOY_ParticipantSeeing the Bulls at number 1 makes me think its the 90’s again..

Scottoant93ParticipantI think they shocked a lot of people of how good they actually are. I thought top 4 but 1 never would have imagined but i am glad I have them in the finals vs the thunder (lose in 7, but thye might win it too, would make a great finals)

omphalosParticipantYeah I’ll admit I’m damn impressed they were able to overtake the Spurs for best overall record. You could say that the Spurs wouldn’t have had that late four game losing streak without injuries to Manu, Duncan, Parker, but Rose and the Bulls had to endure Noah and Boozer missing a tonne of games, so no excuses.
Anything can happen in the playoffs, but this remains a huge achievement considering the lead the Spurs had for much of the year.

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantIs it possible for Derrick Rose to be in the running for most improved player too?

RUDEBOY_Participantthey are 1 of my favorite teams..rose is my 2nd favorite player ..
But i dont see them as champions just yet..not this year..
i cant see them beating boston or miami in the eastern conference finals and then trying to take on the lakers… they are another player away…

RUDEBOY_ParticipantRose has improved in so many areas, especially on defense and his outside shooting..You have to love his abilty to takeover games..
But i wouldnt give the most improved award to a guy that was an all star last season…
Tyreke Evans should ask D Rose who helped him elevate his game? Becuz Evans needs improvement in some areas..

speedevilRudeboy: Rose playing for Coach K and Team USA last summer helped a lot. Other players like Eric Gordon, Rudy Gay, Kevin Love, Tyson Chandler, made improvements also.
Too bad, Tyreke was in trouble with the law at the time and didn’t make the final team. Coach K would of helped Tyreke become a better leader and teammate.

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantTyreke Evans really took a step backwards. Whether it was the injury or having so many young players, he really needs to get better and become a leader faster than expected.

DanEboyParticipantNo one improved more than Rose this year. Guys like Love just got more minutes, he didn’t improve his all around game anywhere close to the way Rose did.
Youngest MVP ever.

Memphis MadnessParticipantthose are the two most promising franchises over the next 5-10 years. Might be a year early though. The Heat are up there too. This might be the final run for the Lakers, Celtics, and Spurs.

omphalosParticipant@NoMoney; YES! That series would be amazing. After we were denied the spectacle of Knicks-Heat in the first round that would be the next best series in terms of great match-ups from top to bottom.
Westbrook-Rose, Deng-Durant, Boozer-Perkins, Ibaka-Noah, Thabo-Brewer, Korver/Brewer-Harden… the list goes on.
