Worse Draft Last 25 Years?

and the rest the 2000 draft doesnt get much better. You could make the argument that hedo turkoglu was the best player in that draft. Here are some more 1st rounders from that year: mark madsen, mamadou ndyae, erick barkley, jake tsakalidis, dalibor bagaric, donnell harvey, speedy claxton....UGLY

there were some fools in the media that were comparing Sean Elliott to Jordan,Danny Ferry to Larry Bird,Pervis Ellison to Kareem and Randy White to Karl Malone...lmao!!!

Ellison was laid back,had good shooting skills,a good rebounder and had plenty of skills for a big man..and some felt he'll be a better pro..they said Kareem was laid back like Ellison...and Ellison was going to surprise alot of people..

But that Draft also gave us Shawn Kemp & Tim Hardaway....

Yeah, 2000 was ugly. I remember people were comparing Swift to a young Shawn Kemp, and some calling Fizer the next Karl Malone.

Yea I think 2000 wins. There's some good role players but zero all stars in that list

glen rice and sean elliot were both better then anything that came out of the first round of the 2000 draft. BUt yeah, they both stunk. I remember everyone comparing randy white to karl malone as well. And danny ferry was actually drafted by the clipps but said he would never play for them and held out until they traded him. A fricking scrub role player wouldnt even go to the clipps.

i agree on the 2000 draft elliot and rice were both way better then anyone out of the 2000 draft

K-Mart is still much more valuable player. They are both injury prone, but Redd is only a scorer. Martin is a top big defender, without whom Nuggets play MUCH , MUCH worse. According to both basic and advanced stats.

I know Redd was drafted late as a role player and defensive stopper, but later he wasn't too active at defensive end. He was saving energy to score.

why did you made Fizer a bust?

Kenyon Martin is a Jason Kidd product... sorry to say... without Kidd, he would never have been an All-Star in 2004...
