I would love to see the Wolves get Andre Iggy.

Thinking in terms of the best roster fit for the Wolves we would prefer a shooting guard that can play defense, have great intangibles and veteran leadership, can move great without the ball, athletic and knock down the open jumper. Because Beasley will be the primary shooter and scorer and Rubio will be the primary ball handler, so the Wolves would need somebody that can be effective without the ball in his hand, and i think Iggy is that perfect fit.

I also think the Wolves need to look at some options for a defensive center that brings intensity and athleticism, because Love isn’t the best defender and Darko can be soft and unagressive, and neither are very athletic. So was thinking Bismack Biyombo would a great fit with Love in the frontcourt.

Is there a way the Wolves could make a deal for Iggy and Phillies #16 pick to draft Bismack?

The Wolves trade the #2 and #20 pick for Iggy and Phillies #16 pick…does that work?

…maybe the Wolves could throw in another player but i think this is a pretty good deal for both teams. What do you guys think?

The only trouble is that Iggy goes onto the roster alongside Wes Johnson so you almost have the same thing with Iggy and Evan Turner as you have a Philly. But the trade is a good idea overall if things could be worked out and if Philly could get the number two pick for Iggy then they would be very happy.

I like this trade for the wolves but i’m not sold on Bismack.. he definitely won’t help on the offensive end.. and darko.. as much as i hate him.. is a adequate defender.. if they do this i can see them taking someone who isn’t such a mystery and provide something  right away.. Motiejunas maybe.. Is he ready right away?.. and i know motie isn’t a true C but there aren’t many true C in the league anyway..

I thought of Iggy to the T’Wolves before too.

    http://games.espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=3ze7lzd

    76ers get: Flynn, Johnson, Randolph, #2, #20

    – Flynn was 14 and 4 as a rookie, but only averaged 18 mpg coming off an injury last season. I expect him to bounce back.

    – Wes Johnson averaged 9-3-2 as a rookie. Pair him up with Turner and you have the #2 and #4 picks in the 2010 draft.

    – Anthony Randolph was 8-4 in 15 mpg. Randolph and Flynn will both put up better numbers with more minutes.

    – #2 Pick – Enes Kanter

    – #20 Pick – Jordan Hamilton

T’Wolves get: Andre Igoudala, #16 pick

    – Andre Igoudala will provide a proven go to guy

    – #16 pick – Bismack  Biyombo.

    76ers Roster

Guards – Flynn, Holliday, Williams, Turner, Meeks

Forwards – Johnson, Randolph, Hamilton, Nocioni, (Young if he resigns)

Centers – Kanter, Speights (Hawes if he resigns)

    T’Wolves

Guards – Rubio, Igoudala. Ridnour, Ellington,

Forwards – Love, Beasley, Webster, Tolliver, Hayward

    Centers – Biyombo, Milicic, Peckovic

no way would the wolves give up that much for iggy and #16… johnson they just want to keep and randolph had a strong showing with the team at the end of the season and has a lot of potential..

cuseflynn10, the Wolves don’t need to give up #2, #20 + (Flynn, Johnson, Raldolph)…the #2 and #20 should be enough for Iggy and the #16….I don’t see your reasoning behind that, you must be a 76ers fan.

I would love to see an Iggy trade involving the #2 pick (Kanter) and Wes Johnson.  We get our Center for cheap, a possible starting 3 for cheap, and give up a big contract going into the new CBA.  Count me in.  I would even swap Lou for Flynn if they wanted to do that.

BBall4life88 this is a great trade idea. This works out great for both teams, and I think the 2,20 for Iggy and 16 is enough, no need for Minny to add anymore players to the trade.

This fills a great void in Minnys lineup for a veteran SG and if Bismack is availible for them at 16 that would also fill the void in their roster for a defensive center. I would do this trade in a second if i was with either team.

It’s definiately a good trade for both sides… but I feel like the Sixers are just looking for more.
