trelos6ParticipantThe Wolves need to embrace a full rebuild.
Trade Brewer/Thad Young to a contder for assets, and then start LaVine (Rubio when he returns), Muhammad, Wiggins, Bennett, Dieng (Pekovic when he returns).
Then the missing piece is a solid 4.
They could pick up Towns or Alexander in the draft.

phila9012ParticipantI am hoping we get towns, but I would take okafor or turner as well. We just need to get a dominant big man who can get 20 and 10 on a regular basis. Then with rubio you look for 3 and d players. He can create a good amount of offense for other players and with the continued development of lavine and wiggins we will be all set to contend for a while. Then have Muhammad, bennett and lavine coming off the bench. I am for them giving KJ mcdanials a high offer sheet in the 5 to 6 million a year range. He would make a nice starting 2 guard next to rubio and he can defend and hit jumpers.

PHXSUNDREAMPICK13ParticipantThey kept up with the rockets last night but didnt see D.Howard in the highlights. T.Young looks good with this team. I think they are closer to being good with the group they have. Need to find a gem in the following draft and they could be close to playoff form.

Jco4ParticipantThe problem with a full rebuild is there is still a need for SOME form of veteran presence and leadership. Thad Young provides that veteran experience without being on the verge of retirement. From what I’ve seen he’s a good leader and someone they can run the offense through.

river09ParticipantThey started the season alright, but losing Pekovic, Rubio and Martin (arguably their best 3 players) for significant time was crippling.. Shabazz has been showing up as a very efficient scorer in their absence (back to back 20 point nights for him), looking forward to a healthy group to be playing together I think they could be surprisingly competitive.
