William Buford?

What is the big deal with this guy? This site is extremely high on him, and I have no idea why...I've seen him play numerous times and there is nothing special about him. He is a solid shooter, but that is really it. I don't see him being anything more than a back up SG.

Thoughts?

Hes a decent SG prospect, 1st round worthy, but I wouldn't spend a lottery pick on him. I think he will be a decent NBA SG, kinda like Aaron Mckie.

He has upside, but I'd be

He has upside, but I'd be shocked if he was a lotto pick. He's not a very good shot-creator/ball-handler, and it limits him a good deal offensively. He scores off of shooting and off of using his athleticism in transition.

He's along the lines of another OSU player, Daequan Cook. And I wouldn't take Cook in the lotto.

Yeah

He really doesn't impress me either, and you're right, this site seems to be really high on him.

I don't know, he just doesn't do anything great. He reminds me of CJ Miles when he was younger.

He's got pretty good

He's got pretty good athleticism, not elite but he's a pretty high level athlete.

Keep in mind he was playing second fiddle to Evan Turner all season and he is only a freshman after all, soon to be a soph.

Actually he was a sophmore this past season, and will be a Junior this upcoming season.
