BradfomsParticipantJust want to know everyone’s thoughts on LeBron and free agency. Do you think he will sign with someone rather quickly, or is he going to milk this thing for all the media attention it’s worth and not make a decision until the last possible second? Sadly, I think the latter is far more likely. After all, LeBron is a celebrity first and a basketball player second, and that is why I will take Kobe over LeBron any day, don’t give me stats, give me results. But what does everyone think, and how will him potentially “teaming up” with someone else effect how quickly a decision is made.

IndianaBasketballParticipantAt first… I thought LeBron would milk free-agency and get as much attention as he could. However, his most recent decision has made me think otherwise…
His decision to not go on a free-agency tour and have teams come to Akron instead tells me A LOT about where his mindset is right now. This decision won’t be based on anything other than WINNING. This will be a pure basketball decision. I don’t think it’ll take long for him to make his decision.

BradfomsParticipantI certainly hope you’re right Butler, I try so hard to like LeBron, but sometimes he does things that make it so hard for me to like him. I hope he does this very professionally.

OhCanada-ParticipantHe doesnt have to milk anything with his decisions.Once he signs he can make all types of controversial comments or rumours just by talking to the media about who he wants to recruit. If James goes first people will be talking about who will be playing with James.
I think we will see James and Wade sorta be like the 2 team captains on the playground choosing teams. The only question is who chooses first.

CelticJayhawkParticipantI really dont like LeBron..he’s far and away the most physically gifted athlete of the past 10-15 years in any sport, but his atttitude’s pathetic. It’s all about LeBron, all the time. HE QUIT PLAYING AGAINST THE CELTICS. Like..straight up just stopped playing. I wouldnt want that dude on my team..give me d wade, bosh and tony allen and call it a free agency.

bobbybParticipantLebron has Brett Favre egomaniac syndrome, of course he cant sign right away and that will mean everyone waits for him because we put him on a pedestal

dwat4444Participantrealistically, i dont see lebron winning a championship with another superstar at his side, his best option would be lining up with real quality guys aka…Andre Miller, Al Horford, Luis Scola, George Hill, Troy Murphy(just examples). If he could play with 3 or 4 guys like that he could still dominate the ball while having guys who can pick up his slack…hmm i just described houston minus Yao, and i hate the rockets!

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantThe 2nd best player was Antawn Jamison. Antawn Jamison was a 2nd or 3rd option on a team that struggled to make it to the playoffs.

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantDon’t get me wrong, Jamison is a class act player and a hard worker and brings leadership. But I don’t see him as a 2nd option on a championship team. Maybe a 3rd option.
