creepingdefParticipantDavid Stern by far. Could’ve easily stopped the Sonics moving to OKC in a heartbeat. That’s power.

McDunkinDavid Stern
After what went down this NBA offseason WW Wes seems to hold the more power when it comes to amateurs (high school players)
I would add Sonny Vaccaro to the list as well

SteroidParticipantBy default, David Stern has the most power, but he doesn’t exercise his power like NFL’s Roger Goodell does.

ghettosermonParticipantNot sure if you mean the most powerful man just as it pertains to basketball but of these guys if you are talking about most powerful in general Richard Lovett should be near the top if not the top. He transcends beyond sports and entertainment. Look at some of the most influential people he controls: LeBron James, Derek Jeter, David Beckham, Peyton Manning, Sidney Crosby, Christiano Ronaldo, Tony Hawk, Jimmie Johnson, Shaun White, Dwayne Wade, Georges St. Pierre just for sports but beyond that Oprah, Letterman, Seacrest, Cowell, Springstein, Mariah, Usher, Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Brad Pitt, Clooney, Bulluck, Julia Roberts, Tom Cruise, Will Smith, Steven Speilberg. His clients practically own the world. He has also has his hand with American Idol, high school musical, Glee, Lost, House, Hannah Montana, MSG, Yankee stadium, Pac-10, FC Barcelona.

JoeWolf1I can’t believe I forgot to mention these guys earlier.
Derek Fisher and Billy Hunter
Billy Hunter is the executive head of the NBA’s player’s union and Derek Fisher is the president of the NBA players association. Those two men have a lot power. If they’re not happy…..no season.
