Westbrook is a good player an will have a really good career…..but he is still learning the point guard position when u can say D.Rose was born to play the position. He still lacks a solid jumpshot, also watching some Thunder games he was trying to be the man at the end of games taking the ball out of the franchise players hands. He is a combo guard at best at this point. With that said he is a sick athelete, an absolute beast on defense and i think playing behind Billups and Rose on the olympic team will help him get a feel for what a point guard needs 2 do to be successful in the league. It depends on the situation. If I need a #2 or #1 guy who is to be relied upon heavily on scoring than I take Rose. But if I am a team with pieces there and I need a point who will facilitate, play defense, and run the break I’m taking Westbrook. It’s kind of like the Rose vs Rondo argument.
