festar35ParticipantSo the last post got me thinking, who in today’s NBA would fit/suit the physicality of the “old school” NBA?
The first guy that comes to mind for me is Steven Adams as no matter what happens to him he just doesn’t seem to care that much.
O do think guys like LeBron and Dryamond would have the physical capability, but could they cope mentally?

Robb_CParticipantOne player that comes to mind as far as toughness that might surprise some would be Evan Turner.
Evan breaks his back in college an injury that couldve cost him a career, ends up coming back winning POY.. I consider him one of the hardest working players in the league, hes a talent that could of played in any generation because his work ethic and love for the game translates..

DolanCareParticipantI think about his a lot. In the end, today’s league has filtered out the tough-nosed players who define the previous eras.
But to answer your question, PJ Tucker. The guy is a tough, focused, foul machine. He’d be Pippen-lite if he played 30 years ago. Reggie Evans is another one.

Robb_CParticipantAnd you cant forgot about Tony Allen..

Jr. ROXASParticipantFor guards, Chris Paul. He’s got that Payton/Stockton toughness mentally and physically.

ChoppyParticipantPlays hard every single possession. There might be better players at his position, but few tougher.

HitsterParticipantIggy has been in the NBA for years but he could have mixed it in the more physical eras.

mowestenParticipantUdonis Haslem. He is at the end of his career, but reminds me of a guy that would have been on the Knicks in the 1990s.

ZachAttackParticipantDerrick Favors wouldn’t be as good as he is now back then, but he would still be able to play with the big guys. And average prolly about 10 and 10

NJHooper95ParticipantTough as it gets in the league today. Hard-nose in your face defender, with no back down in him.

bballjunkie09ParticipantDefinitely Marc Gasol. He’s been injured as of late but he’s as tough as they come, and more importantly is willing to bang down low.

kerrstParticipantHe’s mean and tough enough to bang with the older era
