JNixonParticipantI got Marquette. I think they have the defenders to match up with the Huskies, and the shooting to make some shots. Also, Washington doesn’t quite have the inside punch to take advantage of Marquette’s lack of height.

providencefriars1ParticipantMarquette… This team is going places. DJO and Crowder are the real deal, remember those names if you dont know them already.

BothTeamsPlayedHardParticipantMarquette. The issue of Washington having 93 turnovers in 6 games is not a problem that will be fixed overnight.

llperezwatching the game.

llperezi’ve said it before, but is there anyone who attacks the rim softer then wroten? 2 uncontested blwon layups and another one where he could have had a layup but instead threw the ball to a teammate who was covered and it resulted in a turnover.

EntropyParticipantI haven’t seen much of Wroten but he averages 6.2 FTPG. That’s pretty impressive, especially considering the minutes he plays.

llperezwroten is a turnover machine. And while there is plenty to criticize, he is one of washingtons best players and the team is better with him in the game then on the becnh no matter how many areas of the game he needs to work on.

EntropyParticipantWroten to Ross. Woo!
Also a lot of times i have seen wroten make good passes but his teammates can’t handle them.

llperezyeah, wroten has 2 turnovers tonight that were very good passes to his bigs. ANd now he is finishing his drives. Very special player. When your 6-5 and can blow by pretty much any pg they put on you, thats tough to gaurd. And that pass to ross should be sportscenter top 10 tonight.
And i love this guy for marquette johnson-odom. Guy is carrying them. Complete player.

mamadouParticipantThat’s as close as whitey getting a TD…

llperezits been a great game. 16 lead changes in the second half alone

llperezwow, what a bad pass by gaddy. That a huge choke job right there

OhCanada-ParticipantWhat an awesome game. Gotta love college hoops.

Demarcus OnealParticipantHow is that not a foul?
0 - Posted on: Tue, 12/06/2011 - 6:44pm #612251

llperezwow, great finish. Game winning 3 by marquette with 6 seconds
0 - Posted on: Tue, 12/06/2011 - 6:46pm #612252

OhCanada-ParticipantJohnson-Odom reminds me of Stuckey a bit. I think he could play a similar role in the NBA. Very underrated player. Could easily see him selected late in the 1st round to a veteran team such as the Spurs or Lakers.
Ross is just a freak…Hops for days.
Also anybody that missed this game and is reading this post wondering how good this game really was…sucks to be you. Were probally in the wrong place at the wrong time to miss this game.

HaleParticipantWhy didn’t Washington call timeout when Gaddy passed halfcourt? They would’ve had roughly 4 seconds.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 12/06/2011 - 6:46pm #612254

llperezyeah, i just watched the replay of gaddys last shot a couple times and he was fouled twice. The opponent in front of him hacked him actross the wrist then put his hands up like "i didnt do anything" then the defender behind him bumped him from behind on the attempt. But refs swalloed it.

Demarcus OnealParticipantYeah But it was still a great game but it was unfortunate for Washington at the end, but great finish and Ross and Wilcox look very legit. I dont understand why Marquette is not ranked higher they have the talent and dpeth to compete with any team in the Big East they went to Madison and beat Wisconsin, a top ten team that just pushed North Carolina to the edge. While there are overrated like Vanderbilt still highly ranked and Washington and Georgetown cant crack the top 25
0 - Posted on: Tue, 12/06/2011 - 7:20pm #612265

BothTeamsPlayedHardParticipantWashington plays too young right now. They should be great, but they don’t value possessions. The turnovers and going soft at the rim is disappointing. Abdul Gaddy has to be more aware. Win or OT. Under no circumstance make that pass. Ugh.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 12/06/2011 - 7:25pm #612267

llperezDespite being 4-3, there is defenitely no team in the pac 12 with as much talent as washington and i really havent seen anybody out there that flat out has more talent then washington. Its just playing a complete game.
