valentineso all the wall fans agree that the wiz should and will do better than the cavs right?
last year i was saying how crazy it is that the cavs are doing better than the wiz to what i was told by most that they had projected the wiz to loose more games.
there will be no excuse next year when the cavs get more wins than the wiz

MikezParticipantCavs 31-51
Wizards 33-49This coming from a Cavs fan, and it is assuming that big trades are NOT made (ex: Andrew Bynum/Derrick Williams to Cavs, I don’t really follow Wizards news/rumors). Next year however I expect both to win at least 40 and make the playoffs or just miss them due to Beal and Waiters having their feet wet.

Lebron’s HairlineParticipantThe wizards may make the playoffs now they have a very balanced( and expensive!!!) roster. They Cavs really flopped this offseason as they drafted Dion waiters aka eddy curry Jr. Way too high and they signed Cj miles but have yet to sign their second best young player Alonzo gee.

KHAM83ParticipantWizards are the better team easily- a compete staying lineup and a bench of Crawford, Singleton, Veseley. they should win much more games or it’ll be considered a massive failure. Washington took on the contracts of Okafor and Ariza with the hopes of getting their young guns, Wall especially, some playoff experience. Cavs can gain more by adding another lottery pick next year. Unless of course the Bynum and Williams trades comes to fruition.

For_Never_EverParticipantI don’t believe adding Waiters and Zeller will make a difference in their win percentage. The Wizards Roster is whole lot better vs the Cavs Roster. I can see Wizards being a 7th or 8th seed with the new makeup of the team.

The Scare Crow RisesParticipantI just think down the road he’s a better Pure Pg and will lead the Cavs to more playoff wins then Wall with the Wizards…
I think the Wizards will be the better team slightly but I think the trio of Irving, Waiters and Thompson will be very solid alongside Varejo and Zeller at C…They just need to find a stellar Sf in the next few drafts and sign an impact player to bring a Buzz back to Cleveland…If they get one of the premiere Sf’s in the next draft or two and sign a player of some substance they could be a very scary team, we don’t know how good Irving and Waiters will be as a backcourt, and we don’t know how could Tristan will become either…Walla and Beal are the only players I really feel have a very bright future, I think Wall will be amazing but does he make the Team better, IDK, Nene is injury prone, Okefor has been on the decline and the other young players have to step up this year, at one of them has to emmerge as the next building block next to Wall and Beal, I’d say that guy is Vessely but he’s got to usurp Ariza and Singleton to become the AK47 like Sf in Washington, but again IDK where he fits in at all right now…

Lebron’s HairlineParticipantKyrie is not the purer point guard, he is a score first point guard. He was in his rookie year and his freshman year at duke even though he had Nolan Smith and Kyle singler on his squad he looked for his shot first

BlueRivers25ParticipantThe Cavs and the Wiz are not making the playoffs. Last season the 76ers were 35-31 4 games over .500 and was the 8th seed.
The Cavs 21-45 and Wiz 20-46 are not going to make a big enough jump to make it. I dont think either team will be over .500
Of all the non playoff teams in the East, Brooklyn Nets has the best chance to make the playoffs.

sheltwon3ParticipantThis is easy to me and I think Wiz actually have a shot because of their big men to make the playoffs or to get that 9th spot. I think people are sleeping on their players and their front court depth. They are solid at most of their positions. Every year a team that is not hyped comes out of nowhere and plays well and Wiz looks to be that team.

HadzialijagicParticipantThe Wizards have talent but i feel like they will underachieve.
My east looks like
1 Miami
2 Boston
3 Indiana
4 New York
5 Brooklynthose teams are pretty much a lock for the playoffs
then you have teams like Atlanta, Philly, Orlando and Chicago teams that are all worse then they were last year and may or may not make the playoffs. Then you have teams that can overachieve and be an 8th seed if 2 or more of the 4 teams i listed above miss.
Toronto
Detroit (21-21 over last 42)
Milwaukee: personally i doubt it but we will see
maybe Washington
then Charlotte and Cleveland as teams for sure lotto teams.
