Danny Granger and Orlando Johnson for Eric Gordon

This would be a trade between the Pacers and Hornets. Who would say no? Also, if the pacers did this would they still be able to sign West and George in the future?

In no way is Danny Granger enough to get Eric Gordon. When healthy Eric Gordon is a top 5 sg in the league who still has a lot of untapped potential. Danny Granger has no more room to grow as a player imo. He has reached his ceiling. It would take a lot more to get New Orleans to part with Eric Gordon.

I agree with most of what you say, but Gordon can’t stay healthy, has a huge contract and is acting like he doesn’t want to play for the Hornets. I think they are already regretting that contract they gave him.

i will consider first if eric gordon doesnt really want to play as a Pelican, he has not been healthy lately

with this trade, Aminu would sit? or will aminu or Granger Move to the shooting guard? its to early for austin Rivers to start, throw in Pacers 1st round for this year, and a second rounder next year, that would sweeten the deal,

You could put in Lance Stephenson instead of Orlando Johnson and that would eliminate them throwing in any draft picks.

It’s just too painful to watch Nash’s talents go to waste inside the ongoing circus in Laker Land. Dwight Howard appears to be allergic to running the pick-and-roll with Nash, which is a basketball crime of the highest degree. Not to mention, Kobe Bryant is now splitting ballhandling duty, which strips Nash of his wizard-like talents with the rock.

Indiana would be a brilliant landing spot for the two-time MVP, even aside from the obvious fact that Nash looks like he could step in right away for a “Hoosiers” remake. The Pacers rank 24th on offense and sorely need an injection of offensive creativity. Nash hasn’t penetrated the paint as he has in the past, but he may just need a change in scenery. And Granger becomes a bit superfluous with Paul George’s ascension. Metta World Peace’s return to Indiana is a whole separate matter.

As with the Boston scenario above, the Lakers would have be on board with the idea that building for the future is more valuable than a slight chance at a first-round exit this season. In the short term, Hill would give the Lakers a much stronger defensive presence on the ball, and Granger (if and when he’s healthy) could help buoy the offense without Nash. A 2013 playoff push wouldn’t be ruled out, and Granger becomes a free agent just in time for the 2014 free-agent sweepstakes. This a deal that probably won’t happen, but Nash’s leading the Pacers against the Heat would be fantastic postseason theater.

You also gotta remember when healthy granger was a top 5 sf in the league from 07-10 dude averaged like 23-6-3-1.5… when he was healthy id take him right behind like likes of lebron, durant, and melo, not even in the same conversation as them don’t get me wrong but like next tier below, like saying eric gordon isn’t in the same conversation as a kobe or wade but is behind them. Only reason why I think NO would say no is because the age difference. You could have a great young contending team in 3 years through drafts and cap situations if gordon is kept with your two cornerstones just hitting their prime, where as with granger, A.Davis will be hitting his and Granger will be ln his decline,
