T-Mac has the better handle. LeBron gets by on pure athleticism. Speed, strength and will are what allows LBJ to be dominant. If T-Mac had half the desire to win, he’d still be an all-star.

He been an All star for pretty for most of his career on talent skill abiltiy. Injuries hurt him and the lack of killer instinct that Koby has.

He hasn’t been an all-star lately.

Could you tell me when the last time he won a playoff series was?

T-Mac was 1 of the top 10 players of the past decade..But why are we comparing a guy that might not be in the nba this year to a guy that might win another MVP?

That came off really harsh. I’m not a hater and I applaud T-Mac for all his charitble work and scoring titles. Injuries have taken their toll on him but even before they did he couldn’t lead a team in anything other than scoring.

He’s not even close to being on Kobe’s level.

For the record, I do think T-Mac has a much better handle than LBJ

“Gary’s the right guy to run our basketball operations,” said Roeser. “I’ve worked with Gary for close to 20 years. Our roster, right now, reflects a lot of his views, not just from the additions we made this summer, but also in the last couple of years.”

There was some obvious disappointment in Toronto when the Raptors failed to acquire a star small forward this summer, but that vibe is not coming from Coach Casey.

”My first time, it was much more dramatic. It was a team that was trying to change its image. It was a team that had won 21 games in the regular season,” Aldridge said. ”So that time was a lot different than this one. This time we really have some good pieces, and I think guys are actually better this time. ”

“I am happy that my identity is not tied up in being an NBA player,” Evans said. “If I were to retire today, I would have no regrets and would be extremely thankful God allowed me to play eleven years professionally after not being drafted.”

”We have a lot of young pieces that have the potential to be really, really good. I felt like seeing Damian in person and playing with him was big for me,” Aldridge said. ”I want to start building that chemistry.”l;8uo78

Luckily for Beasley and the rest of the Suns, aggressiveness is exactly what Dragic is known for. Quickness, speed and his ability to attack the basket are all calling cards for Dragic – something the fifth-year player plans to utilize thoroughly in Phoenix with the Suns.

Beal hit less than 34 percent of his 3-point attempts from the college distance last year, but he doesn’t appear to have taken a step back now that he’s shooting from NBA range. Through four games Beal has hit 35.7 percent of his 3-point attempts (five of 14) and while that is a small sample size, he says he’s felt comfortable.

“I learned how to be a better pro,” Irving said of the Team USA experience. “We were playing with All-Stars, and going up against them every day was definitely a challenge for me. I enjoyed it and took a lot from the All-Stars there.”

This offseason, Wizards general manager Ernie Grunfeld discussed the possibility of Evans joining Washington’s front office, but the veteran wasn’t ready to retire and move into the next chapter of his life. The Wizards weren’t interested in bringing back Evans as a player so the two sides parted ways.

The Blazers finished last season 28-38 and out of the playoffs for the first time in four years. They dismissed head coach Nate McMillan and let go of some of their more veteran players, choosing to build around Aldridge and swingman Nicolas Batum.

Even newcomers to the Suns have been impressed with Dragic’s ability, starting from day one in training camp. While Michael Beasley says he can’t compare Dragic to Nash at this point, he does like his competitive nature and spirit as the floor general.

Parallels could be drawn between this season and Aldridge’s rookie year in 2006, when the team was trying to crawl out of the Jail Blazers era when it was known for its off-court trouble. But the 6-foot-11 power forward says there’s a difference this season.

The Blazers’ next internal move was to bring in head coach Terry Stotts, who was 115-168 as coach of the Atlanta Hawks and Milwaukee Bucks but spent the past four seasons as an assistant with the Dallas Mavericks, where he won a championship.

Lillard added: ”It doesn’t take long, just because I’m a willing passer, and so is he. As long as we’re willing to work off each other and keep it simple – and we’re not trying to force it or make it go one way or the other – I feed it to him, he’s the All-Star. It’s as simple as that.”

Due to the timing of Calhoun’s retirement, the focus quickly shifted to who would replace him. While Calhoun, a 2005 inductee into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, and his career accomplishments deserve to be looked back on, there will be plenty of time for that in the future. In the meantime, the Huskies men’s basketball program needs a new head coach.

“It means the rest of us have to step up in their absence,” Chase Budinger told HOOPSWORLD. “Kevin Love, it is a big loss for us, I think he was averaging 24 [points] and 12 [rebounds]. That’s a lot to make up, but I think we’re up for the challenge. I think we’ve got enough players because we are a very deep team, it just means the rest of us have to step up each and every game.”
