Who do you listen to?
A few of mine would include:
ButlerBulldogs
Mr. 6000
JoeWolf
mikenike
knicksfan7
llperez
butidonthavethemoney on a serious post
MagikKnick
Marcusfizer
There are others but those are a few that I could think of right off the top of my head... Dont be offended if I dont mention you... If you think you are a serious poster who brings good things to the table, you are on this list...
ButlerBulldogs, you, Knicksfan7, DanEBoy, Llperez, StanfordHoops, Magikknick, and Knicksboy32 are the guys who's post grab my attention the most. They all are informative and force me to think about what I say.
I listen to everyone. Even if i know what their gonna say is stupid.
The best basketball posters are probably Iggy, Tezo, Llperez, you, Dhamp, Knicksboy, Knicksfan, and Magikknick.
Well:
The8thDeadlySin(if I didn't like your posts why would I be reading this)
Mikenike
Yupyup
There is many more, but these are just a couple off the top of my head.

The users whose posts I really like to read is...
8th-Very funny and smart, also a cool guy
knicksfan-brings up good points and is informative
Butidonthavemoney-he is funny, and its not bad to go off topic once in a while.
OJJ-very smart and sparks great arguements, also very funny
DanEboy-smart and informative
llperez-knows alot. period
Mkadoza-smart and informative
Fizer-smart and cool, should post more
Iggy-smart and informative, and i also agree with him alot on certain players
You-smart and bring up interesting arguements
Joewolf-great poster. period
rtbt- thinks outside the box and informative
rudeboy-funny and smart
tezo-even though I disagree with him alot and he thinks he is always right, ; 0...he is very smart
magiknicks- One of my favorites to read..he has some funny posts and still knows a boatload wbout basketball
I will continue this later when I remember the other posters I like
BUT most of all, I like everyone who contributes to this site and brings knowledge
Yeah, i'm just like that, i read what everyone says, but only a few people hold weight with there statements
Tezo, Iggy, knicksfan/boy, llperez, joewolf, mikenike, stanfordhoops, yupyup, all those guys make you think and help increase my own knowledge of basketball just by reading what they say...
Yeah, naming everybody would be hard....Rudeboy, OJJ, donthavemoney, are some key guys I forgot
but theres also a long list of people that I dont listen to...
It depends on the subject really on whose post I put stock into.
If it is basketball techniques- Either yourself (8th) or Tezo
Overall landscape of scouting- Mr. 6000
Pac10 Basketball- llperez
Anything that makes me think- 8th, Tezo, stanford hoops, mr.6000, OJJ, money when serious, fastdan, DanEboy, midwest, and rtbt.
Front office stuff- knicksboy32
For Humor- OJJ, Money, DanEboy, Midwest, revenger, and mcDunkin
There are some other posters I respect as well that I may have forgot to mention.
Yea.. Dont get me wrong, when I click on a thread, I read what everyone has to say regardless of who it is.. Most of the time, I dont even look at who is saying what.. It is when I go back and reread the post that I enjoy or have something to add or disagree with, when I see who is brining what.. I cant even think of the guys that I dont really put much credit into because most of the time, I dont check who they are..
I do read everything people say, its just that I put more credit into what some people say versus others..
lol..Before i write a post.....I try to look up the facts to make sure they're correct..I try looking for more then just 1 source to get my info from...Before i post something..becuz the guys on here will clown u off this site..if u dont come Correct....lol

I pretty much ignore EVERY one of you new Jazz fans on the board. Annoying the crap outta everybody.
Money do I fit into that "I pretty much ignore EVERY one of you new Jazz fans on the board. Annoying the crap outta everybody." Category?
I think you're alright, but you keep changing your name. I think you were here before and you were D-WillSomething (ehh, can't remember) and then WesleyMatthews23.
But I don't know for sure.
Some guys like Tezo, Iggy, Quincey and QHaynes can change their name, but you still know who they are. I'm not 100% sure I even know who you are, WilliamsFan11.
What I have only had two names DeRozanfan11 and Williamsfan11 I was never WesleyMatthews 23 or D-WillSomething.
Whatever happened to Don? That dude used to post like crazy...even more than you Iggy.

Gatorheels---although he disappeared..super fan of tyrus Thomas.
There are more but I can't remember right now.
Thanks to all those who mentioned me; I appreciate it.
Whatever happened to DHamp? Did he slip into a state of depression after he realized that Devendorf would never make it in the NBA?
Gator was my fav poster. Last year's draft? We had a dude here named like Auber.
He was a awesome poster. I actually found out he lived in the same city as me, awesome poster and smart about the game.
Yea Don is actually the reason I started getting on the site more regularly. He was super smart. Talk about blast from the past though! He was on here in like 08 lol
For those who mentioned me, I appreciate it. It is so many posters that I like on here that it would be hard for me to name. I tend to give props to those in that moment. Yall make it hard because of all the names changes. What happened to Gatorhill. He did say he played ball so maybe he took off. Dhamp seems to be on now and then dogging Dwight Howard and big upping Syracuse. I kind of miss his posts even the crazy ones.
If though I disagree with some posters on here in b ball
I respect a lot of what you guys do
I have been kept up to date on college players that I had no idea who they were because of this site and the many posters who know their stuff.
I tend to be up on NBA past and present but College ball is where i am currently weak. I do try to catch players that a lot of guys talk about and the top guys like Wall, Cousins, Turner, Monroe.
I tend to put out a lot of information because you will have a team that has 3 decent small forwards and they draft that position. Someone's mock had 2 of OKC picks being shooting guards. Stuff like that makes me wonder like do you know who is on their team. I guess they are just trolls because how can you not know some basic stuff like that. I mean one mistake is understandable but some people obviously have no clue what they are talking about.
I am frustrated by people will get their info from other site and then claim them like it is their opinion but sometimes they have faulty sources. This happened to me once with the Jordan Crawford thing.
I followed 2 sources that were wrong and now that is why even more than before I am big now on being careful about my sources and doing background check.
I used to and kind of even now want to be an NBA GM so there are times i get passionate about some things on here and I try not to but their are people on here they if they were Gm's and I was too I could easily get the better of all my deals with them.
There are a lot of guys on here that would put me and other current Gm's to the test though and that is what I like.
I live when you have someone break a guy's game down more that stats or break down the stats and what that implies the guys does in respect to other players and what not. It shows you really know the game versus being a stat junkie.
Being a stat junkie is not bad but it can be misleading. I used to be a stat junkie and paid attention to the game but as I grew older I realize some stats can be very misleading.
I remember think Mark Madsen was going to be a really good post player because of what he did in college. That was a learning experience for me. I was high on this guy that the magic drafted. Johnny Taylor and Brian Evans. They both were good player in college and I was on my college game. They both did not translate well in the NBA. Evans had a few moments but just never stuck.
I remember being upset and still kind of bummed that Reggie Freemen from Texas did not make it.
Also i am still confused why Jamel Thomas never made it even though he played well in summer leagues and overseas.
I hope you guys continue to grow and I will try to give you some of my takes of things along the way
he made the most informative forum topics.
tezo, llperez, ojj, nomoney, sheltwon, mr.6000, auber was cool, 8th(gets left out alot but dude brings it), alot of the other guys im still feeling out like revenger, mcdunkin, spencer(been here awhile and kind of a loose cannon but mostly in a good way), williamsfan.
pretty much everyone is atleast decent.

Yeah Don was great, I guess I wasn't around long enough to see him post consistently, but he used to come around like eevery 2-3 months and drop some knowledge, only to disappear for another 2-3 months, lol, and i guess it just got to a point were he never came back
Some other oldies, Gatorheels and Auber, they were pretty valuable to this site...
User's posts I tend to pay attention to (in no particular order):
Mr. 6000: Is obviously knowledgeable about the players that are in the draft. I want to know how he was able to watch 6 games of Nemanja Bjelica. I love his commitment to bringing us two player profiles just about everyday. It is obvious you put plenty of hours in research in doing this and I'm sure everyone respects you for that.
ButlerBulldogs: Another guy with an opinion (or dare I say facts) about every topic. Good stuff comes from this guy. But you never answered my post about a comparison between Croshere and G. Hayward.
JoeWolf1: His knowledge of the game is evident in every post he makes. Not only the game itself, but he seems to know plenty about the history of the game. I like that.
These are the top 3 in my book, aka tier 1. Great, thought out, easy to understand posts every time. Gatorheels would be on this list if he didn't disappear.
I have a top secret connection (well I would tell people, but I have no clue how he did it....and he moved to West Virginia and I have no way of contacting him at the moment) with someone that has made it possible for me to dig in the archives of atdhe.net and espn3.com to watch games as far back as January 2009. It comes in handy when trying to watch guys play that are on mocks on this site and DraftExpress that I don't have regular access to seeing.
I've been able to watch a bunch of Paul George, Luke Babbitt, and even some games of Stephon Marbury in China despite them being thousands of miles away from broadcasting where I live.
i was expecting this to be about music. ANyways, thanks for the shoutouts guys. There are a few regulars that i respect their opinions a lot and enjoy what they bring to the site. I dont want to name drop though just becasue i would rather not leave anybody out and they have all probably been mentioned here already. I agree its too bad gator heels dissapeared. ANyways, fun chatting with all you guys.
I originally thought this would be about music as well.
I dig on all the Draft net vets but notice there is a divide between new users and the draft net faithful...My post are sometimes long and a little out there but I'm interested in kicking around ideas and talking Ball with some other fans...I'm trying to dig my self out of hole with the points and thank god I'm not the DNyce of this site...
But Yeah Mr6000,LLPerez,ButIDonthavemoney,RudeBoy,Swelton,OJJ, are good posters...I look forward to those posters comments on some of my outlandish trades..LOL...which I do feel are coming to an end...maybe....
A quick and easy way to get yourself out of a point-hole is to end every post with...
All glory to the Hypnotoad...
All of Hypnotoad's followers will give you a point without fail.
scarecrow i hope you get out of the hole man but go easy on those crazy trades especially now. With Lebron and other available people are really emotional about their teams. Also sometimes i be thinking you are high when you make your trades. Sorry man just being real. I be trying to figure out what angle you had to have to come up with some of those trades. It boggles my mind so the high theory makes sense to me lol.
Despite me and his argument about Gordan Hayward I do respect Butler's post. I feel he will learn the hard way about putting your heart on a player to do well just because you really like him as a player.
I have gone through that many times. You almost have to like or hate all players when it comes to talent evaluating because personal bias can really throw you off.
If you look at the past draft it would be better for Hayward to get draft late first or early second because the expectations would be minimal. If a high draft pick does not show enough early on, he gets traded to a team who may not even want him and then he kind of fall out of favor while teams salivate over the next hype dude. Chase will have a longer career now than he would have if he got drafted top 15.
I don't really care about who posts, I care about the post itself. You guys wank this site a lil too much...
My prfile name could have been ScareCrow420Legend...LOL...4 real some of the trades come from a fan point of view...what would be best for both Teams...Fair and unbiased...Minus the Philly trades...
Oh Yeah @ Money....All Glory to The Hypnotoad...
rudeboy thanks for the credit brotha
i don't really discriminate..i judge more on whether the forum topic seems interesting to me
he is the only poster I ever listen to at ALL tims for he is all knowing....
all glory to the hypnotoad.....

Maybe its just me, but when I read some people's posts, I find myself really not caring what they say... Some people just never really contribute to a conversation or know what the hell they are talking about.. Now, on the flip side of that, there are some people that I make sure that I reread their post.. When they say something, 90% of the time, I believe it.. They are informative and really know what they are talking about..
Ex:
TheOneYouShouldTrust (Made up poster) says:
"Yea, Bosh is a beast.. Best PF in the league and he is going back to the Raptors.. Why would he leave that team? They are poised to compete for championships for years to come..."
After he says that, I dont put a lot of stock into anything he says from there on out...
Is anyone else like this??
I want to know the posters that you really listen to.. Who are the guys that you believe?? Who are the guys that you make sure you read their posts??
