RUDEBOY_ParticipantIf he played with a little more disciplined, when he 1st came into the league..He might’ve been a 1 of the best..He had great court vision, a high basketball IQ, decent shooter…And guys loved playing with him..
But he looked to often for the fancy play or pass..And sometimes he would have a clear path to the basket, but instead of driving uncontested,he would stop and toss up a 3 pointer…..

M-DYMESParticipantDamn, J-dub was my favorite basketball player of all time and the inspiration for my game. I learned so many things watching him, learning how to read the floor and never letting the D anticipate what you are going to do. Back when he was with the Kings, idk if there was a more exciting player to watch.
Thanks alot for the entertainment J-Dub. Your gonna be missed, a true innovator and pioneer in the game. Took the street-style game to another level.

cabbycabParticipantThe guy had the ball on a string. I’m surprised and happy that he had such a long career. That elbow pass to Raef is still one of my favorite bball highlights of all time.

TallmanNYCParticipantReal fun guy to watch. I know some people say he didn’t play the right way, but I think he did that stuff to win more than to entertain. He did some crazy stuff, but I think he did that so he could be one step ahead of the defense. They can’t come up with a game plan to stop you if even you don’t know what you are going to do next. Because he didn’t have good NBA PG speed. He was fast with the ball and that is important, but he was never really fast. He could jump, but only average for the NBA. He had a three point shot, but wasn’t really a great shooter. So he got creative so that he could control the game. It was an interesting strategy. Later on in his career he just became dependable. That really didn’t make him a better player, but it made him a more trusted backup.

TheLastWordParticipantGreat court vision to go along with his creative passing, but had the basketball IQ of a small prairie animal.
