ZachAttackParticipantSo I’ve been wondering for a while what happened to arambone/zer0d0ubt. His comments were a bit different, but I was still a pretty entertained reading them. Even though sometimes I would talk bad about him, it was still fun having him on here. Anyone know what happened?

EspressoprodigyParticipantHe goes by T-rex. He is extremely annoying and negatives far outwight possitives (not points).
He said every big man in 2015 class was the next coming and just so happens to hit it on Myles Turner.

T Rexnot just hit it, but hit it out of the park. I’d say I’m batting .885 with a sky high slugging percentage.

T RexAnybody watch Bobby Portis yesterday?
The year of the power forward.
Mickey playing well, Portis, Turner looking like the best player in this draft, D’Angelo sucking ducks, Aaron Harrison with the two year contract after being undrafted, Porzingis looking like he’s going to contribute from day 1 rather than two years from two years from now, Terry Rozier indeed looking like a rookie Westbrook, good thing Danny Ainge knows basketball like I know basketball.

T RexRozier’s low FG% was a function of bad shot selection on a team without other scorers. The giveaway was his excellent FT% and obviously elite athleticism, as proved at the Combine in addition to the game tape.

T RexRussell with 7 turnovers yesterday, plus his weak drives to the hoop. Turns out there’s more to basketball than pull-up jumpers and circus passes.
But I’m sure the Lakers marketing department is still pleased with jersey sales.
Could have drafted Turner or Porzingis, and taken RJ Hunter at 27. Thanks LA.

T RexMarcus Smart drew more offensive fouls as a rookie than Wiggins will in his first four years.
In yesterday’s game, with the game on the line, Smart drew two quick offensive fouls to put the game away.

Bed HeadParticipantI have a question!
What would you guys/gals estimate is the average age around here?
Only reason I ask is … I’ve noticed many members referring to people as "kids". Plus, the other day, someone mentioned eating Raisin Bran. Oh, and also there’s that "Grandpa" guy …
All of which sorta scares me, actually.

ChoppyParticipantI would estimate the average age to be mid twenties. There are a few older posters, you can tell when they start talking about seeing guys like Isaiah Thomas play for example. I myself am significantly removed from my mid twenties.
Personally I think ‘kids’ is used as an insult saying someone is acting childish or has an immature attitude/point of view.
P.S – Raisin bran is fantastic!

T RexI’m 36 but I was at the old Garden when Larry Bird scored his 20,000th point. McHale, Parish, and Reggie Lewis were also in that game, going up against Bernard King and the Washington Bullets.
I guess that makes me old now, kid.

Bed HeadParticipantSo apparently I’m much more "typical" than I thought. (I’m 26.) How disappointing, actually. Though, personally, I prefer Cinnamon Toast Crunch.
As for T Rex’s total mental meltdown today … quite frankly, I blame ZachAttack for starting this entire episode. I mean, it’s like, out of nowhere, he suddenly became all emotional over Arambone. As if pining for a lost love or something. Then just disappears. The whole thing was super strange, imo.

CynthiaParticipantHonestly I’d say for the most part on average it’s probably in the 25-35 range, personally I’m 28. I’m sure the average gets younger every year as new people join, but if you consider the actual active/long-term posters then I think it’s older than you’d expect.
As for gramps he’s a poser grandpa and is only like 22, he said his real age once but I honestly don’t remember.
"kid" is just an internet insult insinuating that someone is immature, an idiot, or someone deemed lower than yourself. It’s used a lot in video games and isn’t meant to be taken literal, in fact typically the younger someone is the more likely they are to call someone a kid, oh the irony.

T RexYou’re flipping things around. Most people thought the draft was junk outside the magical, mythical top 10, and Myles was just another stiff with a gimpy running gait.
I got laughed at, almost unanimously, for saying Turner was better than Russell, Mudiay, and Okafor.
How quickly we forget, after the fact. The same jokers who mocked me now mock me because they convince themselves everything I predicted was obvious.
Okay, buddy.

ChoppyParticipantWake me when the regular season rolls around. We know exactly NOTHING about how these guys will go against NBA competition. Summer league is glorified D-League at best. Players can look good now but suck when playing the grind of an 82 game season. Others can look crap now but put up ROY worthy numbers. Also remember when evaluating Russell that summer leagues are not conducive to effective point guard play. I will reserve judgement on all these players until I’ve seen a bit more, namely the NBA regular season.

Magic JordanParticipantFor a 36 year old you sure are childish. You are deriving an awful lot from two summer league games… as if they are the tell all for a players career. Furthermore you don’t draft a player in the top 10 for what he is going to do in year one.
You act like you nail all these picks and predictions, when all you really do is cast such a wide net that you are abound to catch some fish.
Turner got taken in the top 10, so you claiming him as your own find is just ridiculous. He has looked good, but a few summer league games is not enough for me to move him ahead of Okafor and Russell. A bit premature of you, which I am sure is what your significant other likes most about you.
Andrew Harrison and Dakari Johnson are really filling it up eh?? Not to mention that countless others who will surely regress once summer league is over.
Oubre 5-17 tonight. Solid.
