What if the Knicks eneded up with Chris Paul, Melo, and Amare would their combo be better suited to play together than the Heat and why?

My opion I think they would be a lot better and could win multiple championships. My main reason is they all play different roles with CP3 and Amare being the best 2 pick and roll players at their positions and Melo beig a top 3 scorer in the league. I just feel they would all compliment each other so well. Before anybody argues about me saying CP3 is the best pick and roll pg in the league over Nash thats because it is true the guy made Chandler and David West all stars and never had a guy like Amare or Dirk to run with. Im not a Knicks fan but I hope somehow this happens for them just so they can take the Heat down and keep LeBron for ever winning a ring

i think they would fit better because they each bring something different. cp3 helped west become a allstar but he didnt make him..west is a very good pf. but cp3 makes good players even better

    First of all,

Nash has made more players more money than anyone else in the league. It’s pretty much guaranteed that if you go to PHX you have a career year.

Channing Frye, Jared Dudely, Raja Bell the list goes on. All of these guys had career years playing with Nash. CP3 is a great point guard but I don’t think it’s fair to hail Dirk and Amare as the sole reason for Nash’s accolades.

Secondly, no, that combo is not better. Amare is injury prone and has a lot of mileage on his body and without an elite point guard (at least for this year) he will find he has to work much harder for his baskets (meaning he might be worn down by the time this combo comes to fruition). Let’s also not forget that this combo may never happen due to the looming CBA and the suspected massive reductions in player salaries.

Here we go again with people saying that the Knicks are going to get two more superstars. The Knicks are not going to get Melo and cp3.

But if somehow this did happen, I think the Knicks big 3 would work way better because they would each player would have one specific role just like Boston’s big 3. cp3 would be the one that runs the offense and will set others up, Melo would be the primary scorer, and Amare would be the low block scorer.

I don’t think Miami’s big 3 is going to work because Dwyane Wade and LeBron are both ball-dominant players so I don’t know how they will be able to share the ball.

Cp3 has been better with less. you are talking about guys that stand around and shoot 3s nash didnt make them bell made himself from playing defense, dudley just put it all together, and frye showed he had talent in ny he just got buried behind everybody in portland and lost his confidence witch he does easily the playoff are a big example. Nash has always been surrounded by talented offensive players like amare, marion, j-rich, dirk, finley and the list goes on. CP# has never had somebody on his team that could get 20 every night by themself
