What has happened to..................

Ian Miller from Florida State.....?

I remember alot of sites including this one had him a top 5 pick for this years draft and it seems he's fallen off the face of the earth.

Last season he had a solid season averaging double figures in points in only 23 MPG, and thought this would be the year he blew up, but he's only averaging 5PPG,2RPG,2APG in 20MPG.

I do know he's pretty athletic, and I wouldnt write him off because he still has the rest of this year and a full year mext year, but was he overhyped? Or is he just at the wrong program?

During the NC State game

During the NC State game today the announcers said he has been battling a foot injury all season & barely gets to practice with the team do to it.

He's a better athlete than

He's a better athlete than basketball player and he is not a PG or even a combo. He's an undersized SG.

I do agree he's at the wrong

I do agree he's at the wrong program though. Leonard Hamilton sucks at coaching offense...and his defense this yr hasn't been all that either.

Him being an undersized SG

Him being an undersized SG doesn't matter with his athletic ability, he was compared to Russell Westbrook by most sites and Russ never played the point in college, so I dont think that would have held Miller back.

But I think another reason he hasn't blown up or recieved much playing time is because of his defense, I thought I was the only one that noticed he can't play defense!

Yeah but Westbrook more than had the ability to play point, he played shooting guard because of collison

Lebron's Hairline

Westbrook is my Fav PG in the L, but he barely can play point now lol I doubt he had much more ability than Miller to play point while the two were in college.

Well Westbrook puts the "point" in point guard haha; I was really high on miller this year and even made a thread of underrated prospect which he was the headline of.

to the OP I dont think he was

I dont think he was overhyped, but wrong program, probably. his problem is that Hamilton is terrible coaching offense. also, he has a bad foot problem so he doesnt practice at all with the team. He is an electric scorer when given the chance and although he is really a SG, I can see him making improvements at PG. His prospect chances are likely gone unless he

a) gets over the nagging foot injury
b) Wiggins goes to FSU and brings some profile to them while Miller has a good season
c) transfer out and play a full year elsewhere with high visibility
