Scalabrine4MVPParticipantI am a proud Golden State Warriors fan, but not so much as of late.
What can we do to improve. Thought we could make a run in the playoffs before the season. But we might not even make it AGAIN. About to hit the panic button. Advice please because really curious to what others have to say?0 - Posted on: Wed, 02/01/2012 - 6:01pm #631096
aamir543ParticipantI am also a fellow Warriors fan, and I believe that we have a good pile of young talents, but we constantly make mistakes, like taking Udoh over Monroe. I initally hated the Kwame signing, but he really started coming along for us, but now he’s gone.
I really was hoping we could make the playoffs, but at this point I hope we get a top 7 pick, cause we owe a pick to Utah I believe but top 7 is protected. If we can get say a Thomas Robinson, that would be great.
Overall, we just need to get Lee and Beidrins going, and have a more solidified presence inside. If we have that, than we should be much better.
I’m not ready to give on this season just yet though. If we can get on a run and get the fans going again, we can party like it’s 2007 again, lol.
But the problem is that Mark Jackson is implementing a system that does not fit the personel we have, but If we can play decent D while playing our trademark great offense, we might be able to make some noise as soon as this year, cause we do have the talent to do so.

Scalabrine4MVPParticipantYeah I had a dream we got Dwight Howard last night. That would’ve helped tremendously lol.

Scalabrine4MVPParticipantWhat’s your opinions on Monta and trade rumors?

PrecociousNeophyteParticipantTo start, this team needs to get rid of Beidrins. I just don’t think that they can win games with him on the team. They just have to move on and get someone else inside.

BigDParticipantThe Warriors have a great coach in Jackson, and you’ll be fine down the road as long as he stay’s at the helm, the team plays defense now and they play hard every night.
What they need is a massive frontcourt overhaul, there is literally no depth there at all at the moment.

aamir543ParticipantI don’t want to trade Ellis at all, he is one of the best scorers in the lague, adn we won’t get equal value for him.
I love Curry. I really think he is going to be a 23, 8 and 5 guy in a couple years, as well as a 90-50-40 guy, but having him and Ellis in at the same time, that moves Ellis to the two, where he is a subpar defender, which is where our defense gets messed up.
I didn’t have a dream about getting Dwight, lol, but if we could get Dwight for Curry, Klay, Udoh, Beidrins, and Kawamay, and in return we get Dwight and Hedo’s contract, I take it. You get Monta, Lee, Dorrell, Brandon Rush, and Nate along with Dwight and now Hedo, and when you have Dwight, the defense takes care of itself. If we somehow pull that off, we are an imeadiate contender. Monta-Wright-Hedo-Lee-Howard, with Rush, and Robinson off the bench.

The8thDeadlySinParticipantGood thing about Hedo with Monta is that Hedo can play some PG and let Monta do some scoring on offense. It s hard to defend when a 6’10 player is running the point.
