Champzilla21ParticipantThis is his 2nd terrible performance in. First night he shot 3-13 with only 6 assists, and now this game he shot 1-11 with only three assits. Anyone see something hes doing wrong? because i dont get to see most of his games so i rely on the box score but i know that doesnt tell you everything.

IndianaBasketballParticipantA lot of people on this site are on Westbrook’s bandwagon… I’ve read that he’s a top five point guard, that he’s a great point guard and that he’s better than Derrick Rose. It’s crazy… Westbrook is an explosive, athletic and exciting player and a future all-star for sure, but let’s chill out here… He’s not a great point guard or in the top five just yet. He’s not even a top ten point guard right now. His point guard skills are still a huge work in progress.
He’s improved this season for sure. Every player is going to have his ups and downs. However, he’s still struggling with the same things he did last season. TURNOVERS. He’s averaging over FIVE a game. He’s out of control at times and throws a wide varitey of bad passes. He doesn’t have great decision making just yet and he needs to slow down. His field goals percentage is looking good right now, but he still struggles with his jump shot too.

IndianaBasketballParticipant“You can’t fully blame Westbrook, he was playing through pain after the Camby incident”
LOL… I watched the whole game. After the camby incident, he didn’t come back in the game. He was playing terrible before it happened.

Anton123ParticipantHe was really overhyped by the guys on this site so I guess some are dissapointed.
You can’t fully blame Westbrook, he was playing through pain after that Camby incident + it’s his birthday today, let the guy have a nice time=)0 - Posted on: Thu, 11/12/2009 - 7:58am #229008
Anton123ParticipantOK sorry maybe, I just saw the 3d and 4th quaters, he did come out a couple of times and make a couple of turnovers and misses. Give the guy a break, he probably is having a fine party today
