    Too early to tell.

3 of these guys aren’t pros

Joe Johnson is always going to be a decent 1st option but better served as a role player or 2nd option.
Rudy Gay, same, maybe a 3 time all star on a team where he is the leading scorer because they team sucks. (i.e. Danny Granger)

Why do you have Joe Johnson and Rudy Gay, who are NBA veterans, on the list with upcoming rookies? What’s the significance?

The only thing I could come up with is that the Clippers have a chance to land all of those players via the draft or free-agency.

^ haha i was thinking the same thing…random is an understatement for a few reasons

    1) 4/5 are small forwards..joe johnson is a 2
    2) 3/5 are non NBA players
    3) next 8 seasons? odd scenario

that being said, i’ll answer your 1st question

    best careers:
    1) rudy gay-still think this guy has the potential to be something special, he’s young and gifted he just needs to find a coach who can push him in the right direction

    2) joe johnson-always been a ‘good’ player, didnt become a #1 option until atlanta and after this postseason it looks like he’ll be a #2 for the rest of his career (a la ray allen after leaving seattle)

    3) wesley johnson-has all the intangibles, great personality, long and wiry, i think he could be a legit mid-range jump shooter and defensive stopper

    4) paul george-just a head of aminu, i think he’s got the skill to be a solid starter but not a spectacular one because he has a lot of question marks..he just has a high ceiling (lets hope this isnt gerald green round 2)

    5) al-farouq aminu-doesnt seem interested enough or possessing enough drive to be a significant player (lets hope he becomes luol deng and not shawne williams)

Guys, he just asked a question…. it doesn’t matter what the significance is… he’s just curious.

Alright Clippers I’ll answer your questions:

    1) Careers

#1 Wesley Johnson. I think his skillset is easily the most unique out of these guys. I think it might be tough to find another player in the league who is a better shooter, stronger, and more athletic.
#2 Joe Johnson. His body of work is already pretty impressive. He’s a winner.
I’m not sure what order to put the other guys in, but I wouldn’t put Gay very high. Very few players are as talented as Gay, but I don’t think his mental toughness and leadership are there… and I think we’ll find the same can be said for Aminu.

    2) Next 5 seasons

    Wes Johnson
    Joe Johnson
    Gay
    George
    Aminu

    3) Next 8 seasons

    Same as 5 seasons

    4) Next season

    Joe Johnson
    Gay
    Wes Johnson
    George
    Aminu
