Lotto StudParticipantSo far almost every top 5 pick has decided to return to school, for what reason it may be lockout based. Sully started a trend this year that he will be forever remembered for.
Which of the following will return to school
- Harrison Barnes
- Derrick Williams
- Brandon Knight
- Enes Kanter*
- Terrence Jones
- Alec Burks

JimmeredYaWabafetParticipantonly Harrison Barnes since i think the new rumors are legit, anyways Tobias Harris is better than him.

OhCanada-ParticipantTobias Harris is not better then Harrison Barnes sorry. i watched alot of Harris games and alot of Barnes games. Harris "thinks" he is Lebron James, he plays outside of his abillities and when he could be a very productive player he isnt because he ttries to do what he cant. barnes actaully plays within himself and does that well, he has a tremendous amount of skill, and is a polished scorer already.

GlenTaylorSucksParticipantI just read that Barnes is enrolling in classes for next summer/fall, so I’ll take it as that he’s returning to school. I think this could be right up there with 2000 as a frickin’ weak class.

JimmeredYaWabafetParticipant42 percent is polished? he also has a negative assist to turnover ratio lol

JimmeredYaWabafetParticipantfine i’ll post their profiles since everybody is on Barnes’s dick
http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/player/profile?playerId=51385 Barnes
http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/player/profile?playerId=51417 Tobias
http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/player/profile?playerId=46197 Hamilton
http://sports.espn.go.com/ncb/player/profile?playerId=51540 Terrence
Guess who has the worst stats yep Barnes does

123ParticipantStats don’t prove who’s better. Harrison carries unc in the clutch and has far more potential and althleticism then Tobias.

topotamolderParticipant"Which of the following will return to school" ?
Definitely not Enes Kanter, I can bet 1 million dollars on that 😀

LakerQWell since none of these guys have played a game in the NBA we don’t know if this is the worst draft ever. Either you have a bad memory or just too young to remember a couple of past drafts such as the 2000 draft. Might not remember that last years draft was supposed to be the worst draft ever with only one possible allstar player in Blake G

JimmeredYaWabafetParticipantyep the comparisons for them are comical as well if i were Aran i would get rid of those comparisons and restore a different year if he wants cuz Moiso is compared to freakin KG,Fizer to Barkley,Harvey to Rodman,Shawny Stevenson to MJ,yep its silly

Lotto StudParticipantDude I’m 24 I am well aware of the 2000 Draft my 1st Draft was the 96 Draft. This will be damn near the weakest draft as far as the top notch talent coming out. Although no one really amounted to anything in 2000 I liked a lot of the players from that class when they came out.
- KMart
- Stro Show
- DMiles
- Mike Miller
- DerMarr
- Crawford
- Dooling
- Mason
- QRich
- Mo Pete
- DSteve
- Erick Barkley
- Donell Harvey
- Cleaves
- Alexander
- Guyton
- El-Amin
- House
- Najera
- Redd
- Hart
- Chris Porter
- Penn
- Mickeal
Just to name a few who WERE studs…..What made the class weak was the lack of success by many. In this years class it is weak from a TALENT standpoint of top notch talent returning.

LakerQBasically NO ONE knows how good or bad this draft will be since none of them have played a game yet. Many drafts in the past were considered one of the weakest drafts ever before they played a game and they were proven wrong and many in the future will be the same. That 200 draft has been proven to be one of if not the weakest draft EVER.

kaceyParticipantI’m expecting more international kids to test the draft now. I mean why wouldn’t they, considering how weak of a draft as this is turning out to be. They have nothing to lose, they can just stay overseas after getting drafted.

scoutguruParticipantYeah, this draft will lack for superstars and players who make multiple all star games, but there’s still some solid contributors/role players who some teams could add. And some may even become starters down the road. Not a good season to be in the lottery though. But in terms of like 20 and down, your probably getting the same value as you did in years past, you might hit or miss on a guy who may become a solid role player, and if not, oh well he was drafted in the 20’s and the team is usually good already anyway.
And as great as next years draft looks, I’m still not sure about the HS-ers/soon to be freshman. Those are all based on projections, and we haven’t seen these guys at the D1 level yet, as talented as they may be. But I’m high alot the returning players thus far, like Maalik Wayans, expecting some nice growth his game next year.

LakerQ^^^^ exactly.. Not a very good year to be in the lotto but the rest of the draft doesn’t look much different than any other draft
0 - Posted on: Mon, 04/11/2011 - 5:29pm #520348
boxn1ParticipantThis is not a superstar draft, honestly, there have only been a few real superstar drafts. No one in this class is projected as being the "next" guy in the NBA. But this draft has guys that can be 2nd and 3rd options on contending teams, players who can come off the bench and produce right now. If you have faith in your fav team’s gm you will be ok with the outcome,if your fav team’s gm is Dumars or Kahn be very afraid….

LakerQI think alot of people forget how drafts have been ..They will see a 3-5 pick play just ok and say a player picked at that position should play better but when you look at the history of players picked at that spot they realize that most of them aren’t as good as they thought a player picked at that slot would be
0 - Posted on: Tue, 04/12/2011 - 3:44am #520437
OhCanada-ParticipantI dont see how guys like Klay Thompson, Travis Leslie, Jeff Taylor, and John Jenkins who are likely 1st round picks in this draft think it is a wise career choice to stay in college for another year. Even people like Elias Harris, Robert Sacre, Alex Oriakhi, Festus Ezeli, etc. who may not be ready either would be wise to make their career choice now. They may develop, and some of them wouldl have to if they even want to be considered for next years draft, while this year they could be 1st round picks.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 04/12/2011 - 5:02am #520457
LakerQThey could be first round picks next year as well if they improve. Also they aren’t locks nor high piks in this draft where there is gonna be a lock out so basically they wont be making money as well as not playing basketball

SteroidParticipantTo put it simply, we don’t even know how good this draft will turn out until about 3-5 years from now… To play devil’s advocate here, to all of those saying that this will be the weakest draft ever, give me some proof that this will be. For all we know, this could be a great draft overall even though there aren’t any names like Kevin Durant in it. There is no way you could prove otherwise unless you can tell the future or some shit.
0 - Posted on: Tue, 04/12/2011 - 7:05am #520486
LakerQ^ exactly. Zero proof. We do have proof of almost every other draft ( not last or the year before since its only been 1 and 2 years

Lotto StudParticipantWith the lockout looking really close to happening since Summer League play has been cancelled, what are the chances of Knight returning now?
