FastAndFuriousParticipantFinally he seems like he knows the ability he has and how to use it!
Way not to give up, hard work pays off.

Lotto StudParticipantToday the NETS signed forward Gerald Green for the remainder of the season. Green is averaging 11.7 points on 52% shooting in 11 games with the team.

OhCanada-ParticipantGreat for Green to finally use his brain on the court but he really screwed up off the court. he shouldnt have resigned, playing the marketcould have been huge for him. Contending teams would lineup and payout, the Bulls would have loved to sign Green.
Either way great for him now he can focus on his goals and really with talent like his only the sky is the limit.

I May Be WrongParticipantBut isn’t there a major logjam at the 2 and 3 spots now?
I like Green and glad he’s worked his way back into the league. But finding minutes for everyone is going to be tough. Brooks should get PT to develope if he is your future. Gerald Wallace is an established veteran who will get his minutes. Morrow deserves PT for his shooting. Green has developed into a nice bench player to provide scoring. And Stevenson, well… he’s Deshawn Stevenson. That’s 5 wing players who all feel like they deserve at minimum 20 minutes per night but won’t get it. Someone is going to get shafted.

TomShoeParticipantIf only we could make it into a true minor league. There are always diamonds in the rough waiting to happen.

B FreeParticipantHe smartly agreed to sign for only the remainder of the year, this way he keeps his options open and can make some more money.

aamir543ParticipantI may be Wrong, you bring up a very good point, and what will probably happen for the next week until Lopez gets back, Humphries will play the 5, Wallace the four, Stevenson will be buried on the bench, and Brooks, Morrow, and Green will split the 96 minutes at the wing spots. When Lopez gets back, I have a feeling Morrow will be the odd man out, Wallace will get 34 minutes at the 3, and Brooks will get around 30 at the two, and of the remaining wing minutes, Morrow and Green will probably split it.
The Nets are a mess, I hated the Gerald Wallace trade because A) As great aplayer Wallace is, he is not going to convince D-Will to stay, plus they gavce up this year’s first rounder, and even though it’s top 3 protected the odds are that they will lose a pick in the 5-8 range, for Gerald Wallace and B) D-Will is gone, I know he has 5 endorsements in the Brooklyn area, but he’s most likely out the door, unless he really wants to play in a big market, but odds are he goes home to Dallas, and NJ will have virtually given up two number 3 picks, and a top 8 pick for a year and a half of D-Will and Gerald Wallace. Green is out too, he’ll go where the money is, cause someone will offer 5 mil per year, if not more, probably Minnesota.

TomShoeParticipantIt’s certain that Deron is leaving for Dallas at the end of his contract now that the Dwight Howard coins landed on tails. That was a desperation move to try and win now before their star bolts. And D-Will isn’t gonna flip-flop.

IndianaBasketballParticipantTo bad he couldn’t do this with the Lakers, a team that was actually playing winning basketball.
He played AWFUL when he got minutes in LA.

aamir543Participant^Um, he never played for the Lakers, in the regular season at least.

I do remember there being news that the Lakers picked him up, this was a couple days before the two game preseason started, I assume you’re talking about hat.
