valentineJohn wall is looking like the truth he’s passing very well and scoring as well as picking some pockets and hes not turning the ball over alot
Javelee Mcgee is doing well blocking anything that gets into the paint and scoring as lil bit while grabbing boards
gilbert looks rusty but pretty good picking his spots to score
ji jilian looks nice as well. the wiz look like they will have a nice front line
blachte is scoring at a nice clip i think him and wall have about 20
kirk looks pretty good off the bench. shoul dbe a very nice back up for wall and gilbert this year
not much to say about dalls because we know who can do what
dirk isnt scoring alot but hes dirk
jason terry is scoring pretty well
tyson has double figures
dallas always seems to bore me and i cant stand watching them. not sure why

NJHooper95ParticipantIts early but Im really impressed with Wall’s performance today. A great job running the team and getting to the line. There have been a lot of Rose and Wall comparisions, clearly Rose is the better player, but Wall maybe the better point guard. I think he is a better passer/floor general than Rose. But i still think Rose is the more dominant player no question.

WizardofOzParticipantActually WizKid, it was the other way around. I think he said that Blatche was better than Randolph. If I’m wrong, please correct me stanford hoops.

sheltwon3ParticipantBlatche is better than Randolph but I can see in a few years Randolph being close to what Blatche is right now. Blatche has been in the league longer but they are pretty close to the same age though

RUDEBOY_ParticipantI know its the pre-season..But i kept telling people Wall has the talent to be a 20 point scorer this season …Becuz of his ball handling skills, speed and ability to attack the rim and draw fouls…
Either Saraphin,Jianlian or Howard have to emerge if this team wants to battle for that 8th spot..

stanford hoopsi doubt he will be a 20ppg scorer though this year. gilbert will get more touches during the season. defense will be alot better and blachet will get more touches. if wall is scoring 20ppg the wiz are losing alot of games. its much better if hes getting around 16 and getting everyone else easy buckets. better chance to win

butidonthavemoneyAgreed.
Wall won’t look to score that much, which is probably the best for the team. Blatche and Arenas both need touches or they will hurt the team, and if Wall takes up the role of leader like he wants to, he will recognize that.
That being said, I doubt he is capable of being a 20 point per game scorer in his rookie season.

Mr. 19134ParticipantDon’t forget that Arenas is going to be ball dominant come regular season time and he will be soring so much with it they’ll go along with it. I really believe Arenas can come back and have a huge year. He is in great shape and his shot or dribble having gone any where and he is super fresh. I can see Gil averaging 23-25 points per game and around 5 assists. He should start to heat up from downtown I think Gil’s field goal averages will look like 47% fg and 41% from 3. And Flip Sanders got a deep playbook to get Gil open if he starts catching fire from beyond which we know he can do meaning there will probably be a few huge scoring nights.
Wall looks great but he still dont have a jump shot, but he can virtually run by everybody on the court then jump higher then them. He is still going to average around 15-17 points. But he should also be able to average 7-8 assists per game easily. I think he average in between that if not higher because he got a great amount of soring options on this team.
McGee is a shot blocking machine and is also a threat on offense. Him and Wall are going to be fun to watch.
Josh Howard will eventually be healthy and do what he does best. Score and defend. Howard will probably get around 16 this year stepping up as the veteran in a contract year.
And Nick Young is a good shooter. He will eventually get his rhythm and contribute. I really wish he would get traded to the Hornets for some reason because I think he would be a great starter for that team.
Yi will score and rebound too. He got sweet stroke out to 19 feet.
I wonder how good Al Thornton will be. He should average 12 at the very worse. 17 at his best.
Blatche will get around 18 and 9, 4 assists this year.
Michael Beasley is still better then Blatche.

khaled_a_dParticipantwell,since everything was said about the Wizards I will take about the Mavs(my fav team)
_ Chandler looks determined and wants to be a starter,I liked what I’ve seen from him and I think we really have 2 good players at C finally
_ Mahinmi also is gonna be solid 3rd Center,he isn’t gonna play much but he will do well in his minutes
_all our preseason additions(Cardinal,Haluska,Dee,Novak) simply sucks
_ Marion&Butler shouldn’t play together,RC shouldn’t be stubborn and play Roddy as the starting 2
_ Butler and Jet in much better shape than last year,I think both can be more effective
_Jones isn’t as good as the Mavs fans thought after his SL performance,I know it is 1 pre-season game but simply he is slow for a slashing SG,he isn’t a great athlete/leaper or explosive to help him to finish .with no jump shot and being undersized he may need to develop in the D-League most of the season .but I wish I’m wrong tbh
