you guys dissapoint, we have a great elimination game between the two best teams in the league going down and no thread?

Looks like the thunder didnt get enough love this year. Its not over yet but if the thunder do win its kind of unfortunate that the negative people will discredit the amazing 73 win season the warriors had. Of course i dont want to get ahead of myself, it aint over yet.

Alos i love the fact that big man ball is proving itself to not be extinct.

wow, that sucks for the thunder. Westbrook gets fouled but losses it out of bounds. the refs review it but since they didnt call the foul that caused russ to lose the ball they have to overturn the call and give it to the warriors since it touched russ last

GSW Out…….. Massive Choke by OKC…….. Everyone wrote off GSW…….. & OKC reverted right back to 90’s ISO ball that has been their Achilles heel……..

Klay Thompson was a Monster….. Steph Curry played a Great game by NOT panicking & trying to play HERO ball…….. Absolutely Masterful performace by GSW…………

nope. I mean even before we got the #2 pick i felt that barnes was worth right around the 16million that he turned down from the warriors. SO i figured if he wanted more then that then i would pass. Then once we got the second pick which will result in a sf in either simmons or ingram, barnes became irrelevant in my eyes.

I forget how I felt at that time when he passed it up. I guess impartial, if he wants to try to get paid more go ahead but it may burn him he’s not a max guy. He maybe worth that 16-mil somewhere else but not for GSW so they are likely better off he rejected.

Your right unless the Lakers blow everything up though right. If they really want to trade for Cousins or Butler than bring in Batum, Derozan, Barnes, Horford etc. to form a team next year they have the assets. I agree though they should continue to build through the draft but it doesn’t really seem like they know what they are doing. Some very questionable moves like drafting Russell with Porzingis, Okafor, Turner all being more compatible during Kobe’s going away party season then signing Lou Williams on a good contract but what’s the point of having every one of your gaurds be ball dominant volume shooters especially when you already had Clarkson and Young. Either way with Kobe gone now they have some good players to build around and a promising team going forward.

I didn’t see the thread or I would’ve posted earlier. Barnes has been very underwhelming all year and although he is playing his role but they don’t really need to bring him back at the wrong price became they can easily find a cheaper alternative to fill the same role. If I’m the Warriors and he expects a huge raise I let him go and try to add a player that can do what they expect from Barnes. I still believe in Barnes as a player but I don’t believe in him enough to pay him the max especially if I’m GSW. He just really isn’t a game changer for them.

     Curry & Thompson – the Splash Bro’s Legend Grows………. Durant & Westbrook combined 20 for 58 from the floor & 1 / 13 from 3 pt arc………

    Splash Bro’s 22/51 combined & an Insane 17/31 from 3 pt Arc……….. As a Team GSW hit 21 – 3pointers to OKC TWO 3 pointers!!!

Down 7 – w/ 5 min to play & GSW Storms back to outscore OKC by 14 pts over the Final 5 min AT OKC……

Barkley called it at Halftime……. Klay Thompson puts on Historic shooting display to rescue Warriors……. WOW!!!

KD had Worst game of his career…….

Honestly, Westbrook is not an elite shot maker, but his overall play has been keeping the Thunder afloat this entire postseason. Durant has had a 19 PER compared to his 28 PER from the regular season. I’m surprised no one’s talking about him not being at 100%, because such a dropoff is actually remarkable. If Durant showed up and even shot 40% from the field tonight (which is terrible for someone as great as he is), the Thunder easily win this one. I’ll never forgive Durant for this awful performance. I don’t see OKC coming back from this.

The Cavs have plenty of issues in taking down OKC, but they also have more than a few advantages. First of all, LeBron is completely well rested and looking damn near as explosive as ever. He can get the same all around numbers as Westbrook, except he will shoot much better than 41% from the field because he’s much taller and the floor is much better spaced. Also, even though Westbrook should now be considered a true PG, he does not have LeBron’s composure and overall Bball IQ (even though w. his lack of tertiary shot creators, it isn’t hard to see how that would happen) and LeBron won’t make those same mistakes down the stretch. Also, unlike KD, Kyrie Irving is scorching hot from both the midrange and three point line and he can break down a defense like no one else. LeBron and kyrie both can, and we’ve got plenty of shooters to score a ton of points. If the Cavs get a lead, they have the personell that can dodge epic late game collapses.

Westbrook played a Masterful game of Point Guard for OKC…….. but Durant Absoluetly Killed OKC……..

He took one Bad shot after another completely nullifying his teammates & Bailing out Golden State over & over & over again…….

KD one of the Worst "Big Game" Performances in Conference Finals "close out" History…….. Total Choke by KDizzle fo Shizzle…….

This Game 7 should have the highest WCF ratings in awhile.

So one great game cancels out an entire post-season on underperformances? Ok dude.

Durant is great. His defense has been essential against GSW. He needs to shoot better from the field though.

     An entire postseason of underperformances?

I’ll agree with you that he needs to shoot better from 3…believe his percentage is like 28 from 3 which is like 10 percentage points lower than he typically shoots but still, he’s been pretty much himself through the playoffs.

In the 3 final wins over SA he put up 41, 23 and 37 and in the 3 wins over GS, he’s put up 26, 33 and 26. His shooting wasn’t very good in two of those GS wins but Durant is fine. He’s not perfect but to say you’ll never get over one bad game from a guy who consistently provides great ones seemed a tad hyperbolic.
