How good is this team? Clippers have won 17 in a row and the Warriors are only 2.5 games back still. Add a healthy Bogut to that team and….who knows. I know I had written them off because of Curry and Bogut’s injury history. They are having this success while Klay Thompson is only shooting 40% from the field and just under that from deep. I also didn’t like Harrison Barnes but he is playing great and a big part of their success, and now I think he should be playing more. I was really wrong about him.

They have shown they can beat the Clippers twice and look to be a scary team going forward, and not just this season.

Where will the Warriors end up this year? and what will be the future of this young talented core in a crowded West?

A good seed (4-5) and they can reach the second round. Their future is bright. They have two young wings in Klay and Barnes that both got a shooting stroke and have bodies with defensive potential. David Lee continues to be himself and thensome, Curry keeps his ankles in check and they have a great bench. The one question mark is Andrew Bogut’s health. Also, people are forgetting about Brandon Rush, who’s a great defender and 3-point shooter (out for the season).

David Lee is playing at an all-star level right now. He is a much better passer than I thought he was and did a solid job defensively on Blake last night. Their transition and half court defense are much improved as well. I’m curious why Richard Jefferson doesn’t get any time on the court with Rush out.

Because he’s a terrible defender. He was in San Antonio, and considering he gets no PT, he most likely still is.

this is a great team if curry can manage to make it through a season with his ankle. Right now, they have to guys who are EXTREMELY injury prone and that being curry and bogut. I’d be worried if I was running the warriors. Who knows when bogut will come back and then who knows how quickly he’ll be put back on the injured list. Right now, Curry is playing out of his mind, but in the back of your head, you have to be concerned with his injury history and his ankle.

As a Warriors fan, I love what we’re doing, and I’m pumped because I legitimately think that they can make a deep run in the playoffs. But I’m not hinging any hopes on Andrew Bogut, if he comes back great, if he doesn’t, so be it. Although if he can protect the rim at an All-Star caliber level I think he can be really be the anchor that lifts us to another level the same way Tyson Chandler can.

Curry is finally the player I envisioned nim being. Hes shooting 45% from 3 on a ton of attemps! Klay needs to play better on defense and pick better shots while Barnes needs to become more aggressive, but eventually theyre gonna be the best shoptin team in the league.

They remind me of the Sam Cassell, Ray Allen, Glen Robinson, Tim Thomas Bucks who were so good at shooting that if they caught fire they were impossible to stop from scoring. That Bucks team nearly went to the Finals but in the ECF Allen Iverson happened to continue a one mam run aof epic greatness I havent saw emulated since Lebron.

Any team who can shoot that well is always a threat to go far and with David Lee playing lile a top 5 big man watch out.

I really like their team and they will continue to beat up on the weaker teams but I am not ready to mention them with OKC, SA, LAC or even Memphis at this point. All those other teams have playoff experience and while this year will be great for the young Warriors to learn what playoff basketball is all about I don’t see them making too much noise. Next year however they could easily be a top 3 team in the West.

I’ve been following them since the drafted Barnes and I’m loving their success.
