nateoak10ParticipantI was thinking about this team , they have the back court set rather you like them together or not there not going to trade either right now, Lee is the franchise big but at SF and Cennter are they set? Dorrel Wright is having a MIP type year and is averaging 14 and 6, plays good defense and shoots 40% on 3’s but is super streaky. One game he’s 6-6 on 3’s the next he’s 2-10 and he overral shoots less than 40% from the field. Yet he’s only 25 and is still improving and it’s just his first year starting, do you think he can be our SF of the future? Or would he just be a really good 6th man? I think if we could snag Iggy w/o losing Lee, Curry or Ellis and bringing Wright in as 3 point/defender would be awesome.
And at center, Andris does 1 thing well. Rebound, infact he does it really really well but has no offensive game and is a decent but not great defender. One bay area reporter said that he could get dangled out there for someone like Iggy, do you think he should be this teams center of the future? Or should they try and get someone like Gortat?
Is the W’s current lineup a legit threat given some time to develop and get healthy provided they get a better bench? Or do they need to adjust it? Should Lee play center in the future if Andris leaves since that was when he was at his best similar to how Amare is at his best at center but is a natural PF?
I personally hope we get Iggy for Andris, Vlad (7 mil expiring) and a 1st than get in on a 3 way deal between us , WAS and ORL and get Gortat… dont take these as trade ideas cause I know its pie in the skie
PG:Curry, Law
SG:Ellis, Williams
SF:Iggy, Wright
PF:Lee, Amundson
C:Gortat, Udoh
Legit team
Also they started 6-2, Lee went down and fell on there face.. Lee comes back than Curry goes down.. Do you think that 6-2 start shows how good they could be healthy or just a quick start?

Mr. 19134ParticipantIt was a combo of a quick start and them hitting a rough patch due to injuries. They are a playoff contending team tho once they get healthy and add another piece.
I wouldn’t trade Iggy at this point for just Biendrins with Hawes coming a long but the Warriors should really consider moving Udoh for Iggy and some expiring contracts.

nateoak10ParticipantWhy do you think he’d be traded? I’d make that deal but just a odd thought. And Hawes will never be the rebounder that Andris is, I think they need a pure rebounder right now

Go hawks
Its a win win situation for all teams involved plus atlanta gets what they really need a defensive minded big and a scorer in Mayo. Of course it would be to counter act the possible orlando deal withc would make it impossible for the hawks to be taken seriously.

nateoak10ParticipantWhat use do we have for Zbo? Or Crawford ? Rather keep Andris, much rather. And who becomes the SF? A 6-4 Reggie Williams? Come on, Wright is a solid starter/great 6th man imo. Hell no to you sir

dmo21ParticipantHow about a different Atlanta-Golden State- Memphis trade idea.
Atlanta trades M.Williams, and Ja. Crawford. Atlanta receives Biedrins, Mayo, and Allen. Linup: Bibby(Teague), Johnson(Mayo), Smith(Evans), Horford(Powell), Biedrins(Pachulia).
Golden State trades Biedrins and B.Wright. Golden State receives M.Williams and Thabeet. Lineup: Curry(Law), Ellis(R.Williams), M.Williams(D.Wright), Lee(Udoh), Thabeet(Gadzuric).
Memphis trades Mayo, Allen, and Thabeet. Memphis receives Ja. Crawford and B.Wright. Lineup: Conley(Vasquez), Henry(Ja. Crawford), Gay(Young), Randolph(B.Wright), Gasol(Haddadi).
Atlanta moves a disgruntled player and a player who hasn’t lived up to being a #2 overall pick. They change things around so Horford can play his natural position and they have a very large lineup and can have a variety of lineups because Johnson, Smith and Horford can all play 2 positions. Mayo will play the 6th man role Crawford played.
Golden State trades some injury prone players for some guys with bundles of potential with both of them high picks without the stats, kind of a boom or bust trade. Williams fills their small forward void, and both players will help out their defense.
Memphis trades a struggling Mayo and Thabeet to get guys who can play right now. Crawford takes over the 6th man role and would back up both Conley and Henry. Wright is athletic and has potential and could be the guy to replace Randolph.
