Does Washington Wizards have an additional first-round pick from this year’s Cleveland?

    (Wall, Barnes, Jones)

And would any of you do this trade…

CHI trades – James Johnson, Kurt Thomas, Their 2011 First, Bobcat’s Future First
    CHI receives – OJ Mayo

    CHA trades – Stephen Jackson
CHA receives – Hasheem Thabeet, James Johnson, Bulls 2011 First, Their Pick Back Unprotected

MEM trades – OJ Mayo, Hasheem Thabeet
    MEM receives – Stephen Jackson

One of the few trades here that makes a lot of sense….not quite sure about stephen jackson to the grizzlies but even if it were a two team with Chi and Memphis, OJ Mayo to Bulls makes a lot of sense…plus how awesome would it be to watch Rose and Mayo playing together

I think Bobcats need a little more. They are giving up Jackson who is a really good player and getting back a complete bust in Thabeet. A good role player in Johnson and a pretty low pick with the Bulls. Memphis needs to give a little more for Jackson instead of just Oj Mayo. I consider Thabeet worthless to almost any team. I was completely against him being drafted in the top 10. During that draft the Thunder had the 3rd pick and I was absolutely terrified they might take him.

There is a rule that teams can’t trade future first round picks that are in back to back years.  I don’t know if there is an exception for an extra pick from another team.  If someone could clarify that that would help.

If I was Chicago I would say yes before they finished their offer.

For Charlotte this is the type of return they are going to get for Stephen Jackson, a package of interesting young players and picks.  If they think Thabeet is salvageable and wouldn’t be destroyed by Larry Brown I would do this trade too.

As for Memphis they could do better.  Stephen Jackson is not going to put them in the contention for the Western Finals so they should hold onto their two young lottery picks, who are still on their cheap rookie deals, for a better player.

Sorry I was wrong.  This trade does work, a team just has to have a pick.  So since the Bulls have 2 in 2012 they can trade one of those and their 2011 pick.

The Grizzlies or the Bobcats would never agree to that.
