nl2niceParticipantDon’t be surprised if Wall and Cousins join the likes of Okafor and Gordon or Jay Williams and Dunleavy in terms of college teammates being drafted back to back..it could happen. A lot of people think the Sixers are going to draft Turner who is deserving of the pick but I don’t think he would fit well with them. They already have Iggy and Young . The Sixers could use a young big to bang down on the boards since Dambert and Brand are getting up there and are injury prone. Cousins I see as a better fit and could bring some much neded toughness to the Sixers as well. What do you guys think?

Daprob89ParticipantWhy wouldnt he fit?
Their a run and gun team lacking a playmaker who can play multiple positions… No way Evan Turner get pass the Sixers thats almost as stupid as the Wizards passing John Wall

WildDudeParticipantIts prob not happening but I am not disagreeing with nl2nice… I mean DeMarcus is a better fit for the young 76ers, Marreese Speights has potential to be great but ouside of him they dont have any young bangers in the post, DeMarcus is an incredible talent and I seem him maturing as time progresses, being a Nets fan I’m hoping we take DeMarcus over Favors but thats a different story. But the 76ers have good young guards with all the potential in the world.

slurveman3ParticipantI wouldn’t be surprised if the Sixers (#2) don’t swap picks with Minnesota (#4), with the Wolves adding another piece in the process. Rumors were already swirling about how much the Wolves wanted Turner, and the Sixers could possibly get Cousins at 4. Just a thought, I haven’t heard any evidence to back this up.

stanford hoopsit could happen but i dont see it. the sixers have been looking to trade iggy for the past 2 seasons and i think they will finally do it this season and build with young, turner, and holiday

RickyRubio9ParticipantWhy would they get rid of anyone?
They can put Iggy at his natural position, SF, bench Young & let Turner play the 2 guard.0 - Posted on: Wed, 05/19/2010 - 10:33am #317975
stanford hoopsbecause they havnt done much and his contract is big and they already have young who they like more probably. maybe there are other reasons. either way they have been trying to trade iggy but thats actually old news

GrandmamaParticipantIf Philly take Cousins over Turner, they will be haunted with the ghosts of Oden over Durant, Bowie over Jordan etc etc.

IknoBall12Participantthe comparison of tuner and iggy. They seem to be the same player. both can handle the ball, neither are great shooters from beyond the arc, they both can get 2 the rim very well and finish and both play pretty good defense. To be honest i dont really kno wat the sixers need but i think 1 thing that can help is a starter who can shoot from the perimeter. i also think elton brand is NOT the answer 4 the sixers.
