DanEboyParticipantWade openly ripped the Bulls organization for not being loyal to their ex-players. He said that Jordan and Pippen are nowhere to be found and that they do not take care of former players.
I mean the Bulls have a ton of former players who are still with the organization. Bill Wennington, Paxson, Simpkins, Stacey King…even Bj Armstrong and Bill cartwright had roles with the team after their career.
Do you think he is trying to block LeBron from coming here? Or is MJ egging him on since he is part of Jordan’s Jump Man crew?
Also, I find it funny that Wade is talking about loyalty while he is testing the free agent waters.
What do you guys make of all this??

DanEboyParticipantPlus, players can talk all they want, GMs and owners can’t because it would be considered tampering. Maybe the Heat brass put him up to it.
It just doesn’t seem like something he would say.

adamsdankParticipantNot loyal to former players like Pip and MJ??? Is there not a statue of MJ in front of the United Center? I guess i am just imagining both # 23 and #33 hanging from the rafters at the United Cemter. After Scottie was done playing the bulls brought him back so he could retire as a Bull and he still attends games on a regular basis. Both MJ and Pip came back to chicago last year when they had a halftime ceremony honoring Red Kerr. Both player did have a problem with jerry kraus who is long gone. MJ did feel he was mistreated when he was no one offered him a % of Bulls ownership. As a bulls fan I thank god for that. The Bulls are the most porfitable franchise in the NBA and all MJ would have done is run this franchise into the ground. He has no busniess running a professional basketball team….as a GM or owner. If you feel the Bulls will mistreat you Dwayne then be LOYAL and stay in MIami.

Bnix13ParticipantThere has been talk that if a sign and trade is an option Wade and two other max players can end up in Miami if they deal Beasley. Wade knows it’s him or Lebron in Chicago and Bosh may be in play with a sign and trade there, which would leave Wade with what would be seen as a worse team if it was him and Amare, Dirk, ect vs Rose/Lebron/Bosh/Noah. GMs aren’t the only ones with smoke and mirrors this time of year.

mwardiaParticipantwade just needs to stfu, i remember last year i read an article sayin tht he wanted to be a miami heat for the rest of his career, and he said tht his heart was in south beach. doesnt make sense to me, u either dont talk to earlier, or make sense of wat ur sayin. i understand the bulls arent tht good, but dont try to rip on another organization when the organization u have isnt the greatest either wtf

DanEboyParticipantIf anything, Reinsdorf is too loyal. He did give MJ 66 million dollars over 2 years when no one even makes that kind of money now….not even close. Plus, I forgot about Randy Brown and Cliff Levingston. That is 8 players from the championship runs that are part of the organization.
He also said that he, LeBron, Joe Johnson, and others were going to have a sit down to discuss things…
wtf is going on?
Maybe they will start an expansion team…lol
This summer is going to be a soap opera.

OhCanada-ParticipantWade wants Bosh and Lebron in Miami and I really think its possible.
I think they are all gonna play together and Miamis cap is gonna rival the Lakers cap at around 90 Million.
If the Cavs can be at the 90 Mill range why cant a Mega City like Miami.
They resign Joel Anthony grab Eddie House and some lock down defenders and they are set.
Wade, Lebron and Bosh are about 60 mill and that gives them 30 mill more to sign 8 more players (or around there).

The Scare Crow ReturnsParticipantHe is probable upset The Bulls are Coveting Lebron instead of a hometown hero playing for the city he grew up watching…I Think Wade will not wait while Lebron tests the waters…He will sign deal with Bulls first…No S and T’s for Bosh or Lebron…Raps and Cavs wouldn’t get anything but Hinrich or and pick 18 or 20…not worth it IMO….they’ll let Wade Walk and go home,,..He thinks the Bulls don’t treat their former players right and he was talking about Oakley and Rodman in particular…ANd he’s right..Oak should be a coach(Big Man…Defense) and Rodman is a Hall of Famer that gets no support from the teams he helped get rings for…Detriot and Bulls owe him something for being a monster on the glass ….Wade clearly wants The Bulls to stop the Lebron love…LBJ is not a better fit for them then Wade and when he stunts Rose and Noah’s growth by ball hogging in Chi Town you’ll know I was right…Wade is perfect for the Bulls….once LBJ goes on the tour of the League and looks up and see’s that Wade has signed with the Bulls and Bosh lands in Texas with either the Rockets/Spurs or Mav…he choose NY or Cavs and be done with it….

The Scare Crow ReturnsParticipantIf they sign LBJ and Bosh and Resign Wade…8 mil is all they offer the rest of the team plus a MLE …you cant go over the cap too sign anyone not on your team already…I think Mia will get two stars but Not any Combo of Wade/LBJ and Bosh…JJ and Amare…maybe Boozer….

NYK2010ParticipantWade come to NY they are loyal got Walt Clyde Fraiser doing games and Starks, Bernard King work with them. Also Oakley is involved with stuff at MSG. They honor the 70 and 73 teams a lot, the Bulls don’t care about Pippen at all thats for sure.

druneave3Participantis only saying that because he knows chicago is the best option for lebron, who he obviously covets. this is simply negative propaganda because he is desperate. like many of you have said, the bulls are extremely loyal to their former players, to a fault. the best example of this is jon paxson who shouldnt even be with the organization based on the decisions he has made. reinsdorf even allowed him to take a lesser “day-to-day” role when he was questioning if he wanted the job at all. i would like to ask wades wife about his loyalty, that he claims is important to him, while he is also testing the FA market. also, ask stan van gundy how loyal the miami heat franchise is.

knicksfan7ParticipantDanEboy, I love your idea that they might be starting an expansion team. I bet what will happen is they all sit down, and ask Phil Knight to start a team with them and they’ll be called something related to Nike.

ctw724ParticipantHe did scale back his comments during an interview with the Sun-Sentinel.
Regardless, his innitial comments were IGNORANT, COWARDLY and full of BITTERNESS.
I can’t foget MISINFORMED too.
The Bulls’ management has hired plenty of former players and coaches (Norm VanLier, Johnny Kerr, Randy Brown, Pete Meyers, John Paxson, B.J. Armstrong, Bobby Hansen, Scottie Pippen, Bill Cartwright, etc.) to work in their organization.
They have also been LOYAL to former players like Jay Williams, who breached his contract by riding and then crashing his motorcyle, which eventually ended his career. John Paxson and Jerry Reinsdorf didn’t have to pay his remaining salary, but they did it anyway plus some.
The Bulls’ management is far from LOYAL.
No Bulls’ fan liked the BREAKUP OF THE BULLS DYNASTY, but LOYALTY wasn’t the issue.
