Was just on Youtube, so thought you guys would like to see some vintage Arvydas Sabonis. I’ll post one for now, but I think I might find some others, Enjoy!

The guy was HUGE and very strong, skilled and athletic and this is Sabonis way before his prime, but already destroying team USA.
He really was like a cross between Yao Ming and David Robinson lol

It won’t let me embed, but I got footage of the whole Us vs. The soviets game. I’ll post the link to part 1 of 7, and there you can find the rest. I felt so bad for Sabonis looking at those Knee pads, and wtching him run up and down the floor so gingerly.

I just watched half of the first half in the 88 Us vs.Ussr game, Sabonis is hurting, and they aren’t even trying to post him up. If he played in the NBA when he was first drafted, imagine Clyde and Sabonis. Maybe they would have had a legit shot at MJ in 92? I just hope that another communist govt. doesn’t do what it did to Yao and Sabonis’ body, case both could’ve been legittop 25 of all time.
