marcusfizer21ParticipantNow that the NBA has reached an agreement with its players, let’s get down to business and talk acquisitions… The first thought that came to my mind is Vinsanity… His contract was bought out by Phoenix which gives him another option to find another team… What team do you think will he end up playing for?
Personally, I’d love to see him wear a Bulls uni but he’s old, washed-up and doesn’t play the brand of basketball that I used to see in him before… If you were talking about a 28 year old Carter, then yes, I would be the most ecstatic Bulls fan you’ll ever see in the world… but right now, he’s an OK acquisition that could fill in the need for more offensive firepower at the 2 Guard spot…

Toronto16ParticipantI’m hoping he signs with Dallas or Miami.

natedogggParticipanthis contract hasnt been bought out yet. but its a mere formality, no way phx pays him 18 mil.

gmforhireParticipantI think Vince will go to the bulls. It would be a perfect fit for a player of his caliber. I know he is not a all star player anymore but I think he would mesh well as a third or forth option. If he’s healthy he could possibly absorb a ton off minutes. At best he is a third option type of player but he would be a hell of a sixth man on the bulls.

bobbybParticipantYou DO NOT want this guy. I am a Suns fan and i watched him literally play himself out of a starting role to Jared Duddley. He has no outside shot( he was bricklaying 3’s) and completely lost his ability to create that "tough" shot offf the dribble

omphalosParticipantI think he might be rejuvenated playing for a winning program like the Bulls. It would be hard to put your body through the grind of an NBA season for a team like the Suns which are just about the definition of mediocrity.

JunkYardDogParticipantIf carter didn’t get rujuvenated playing for phoenix, I don’t see him being that in a bulls jersey….
… he’s nearly the onlly player who didn’t benefit playing with a pg like steve nash. Every player put better stats and play better bball with steve nash… how the hell carter couldn’t do that ?

omphalosParticipantBecause the Suns had literally no chance of winning? Bulls would give VC a chance at a ring, you don’t get that in Phoenix, besides, he knew he wasn’t going to stick around. Not defending what he did, but you can understand his motivation in Phoenix and how that would be different in Chicago.

Snubs15ParticipantHe just wasnt a good fit in Phoenix at all. His career is pretty well done, just a role player from here on out. Sad story.

TyroberParticipantI think the Bulls offer JRich the full MLE.

Chilbert arenasParticipantVince is outta gas, he’ll be this years Jerry Stackhouse, never plays on a contender and eventually gets cut to make room for someone worth while

natedogggParticipanti dont see carter going to the bulls, they are interested in guys who actually play D.

The8thDeadlySinParticipantLakers.. They are probably gonna lose Shannon Brown and Artest isn’t going to be as valuable with Mike Brown running the team. Carter can come off the bench and play SG/SF to bump Barnes out of the rotation and add some offensive punch to the second team with Odom..

marcusfizer21ParticipantVince was pretty bad with PHX… I mean, he was Ben Gordon-like there in a way… He would put 25 points in one game then the next three games he would be scoring 2, 8, 7 in some 29% shooting… His inconsistency was unbelievable…

r377ParticipantI think he is virtually done and will prob retire after this season. His heart is just not in it anymore – one could argue he didn’t have a lot of heart to begin with….
