Vander Blue

First off I think hes going to be a lot better than expected in the NBA. I feel as though if he had stayed then next season he could be like how trey burke was this year. These marquette guys have a strange way of bursting on the nba scene unexpectedly. (jae crowder, wes mathews, jimmy butler, even novak). and dwade wasnt supposed to be as good as he was. That really has nothing to do with V Blue because every player and situation is different but I just really like this kid and think he is capable of great things in the future

Reminds me a bit of Iman

Reminds me a bit of Iman Shumpert and I believe we may see a similar increase on his draft stock. Marquette gaurds always are underrated around draft time but are typically successful NBA players. Right now I'd say his stock has soared to 35-45.

Jimmy Butler is a great

Jimmy Butler is a great comparison as well seeing that before the draft he was considered a late 2nd and he ended up squeezing in the late 1st and now it seems like he will always have a role in the NBA and has an extremely bright future.

If he truly thinks he's going

If he truly thinks he's going to play PG at the next level, he'll be out of the league quick IMO. He isn't a PG at all. His only chance is at SG.

Same school, but Wes

Same school, but

Wes Matthews was 6'5'' 220 lbs with a 6'9'' wingspan

Jimmy Butler was 6'7'' 215 lbs with a 6'8'' wingspan

They were much bigger players and guys with more physical ability to guard wings. Vander Blue isn't small and ungifted athletically, but being 6'4'' 200 lbs with a 6'6'' wingspan isn't quite as ideal size to contain NBA wings. I don't dislike Blue, but I don't think the Golden Eagle connection puts him on the level of Matthews or Butler.

He'll be one of those players

He'll be one of those players that get picked late and contributes immediately on a great team.

I'm not comparing him to them, but i think his role will be similar to that of Draymond Green, Jimmy Butler, and Chandler Parsons.

And for some reason, i feel like he has the potential to be a great player... i have a feeling about him.
