He seems to be lacking some quickness laterally and I think his jumpshot is questionable. I watched him shoot after the whistle and his release looked bad.
He looks like he’ll be very effective in the NBA in the pick and roll.

This is the only game Gordon hasn’t played well in. He’s been good and consistent since tryouts.

Because he plays for the Clippers. He doesn’t get tons of highlight dunks and play for an up and coming team like Westbrook. He didn’t lead a mid-major college team into the NCAA Tournament or play for a run and gun offense like Curry.
He’s quiet and has little fan fare. That’s why all these people have counted him out since tryouts and looking for a reason to say he shouldn’t be on the team.

I really like Rubio. He has size, length and court vision. He’s not that athletic or quick laterally, but he competes and can make up for it with his length.
He shoots a knuckle ball, but it went in tonight. I like him.

Great game, I do hope they go with a different starting line-up in the actual World Championships, but I think it will be quite different during actual WCB play. I loved the fact that Derrick Rose was stepping up at the end of the game, he is super clutch and the best PG on the team. What a player, I can not believe people on here were talking about him being cut, that would be ridiculous. This is a B-Team, but Rose is an A player, as of course is Kevin Durant who just continues to kill it. I think those guys are locks for 2012, and honestly would not be surprised if they both start than. Bold statement, but think of where these guys will be in two years, and regardless of whether they start or not, they will both get big minutes. Hopefully by than the US team will have at least one actual center and a hybrid, because I think having Tyson Chandler is just not looking good. Odom playing center is not what you want to see either, I think Lamar has played well, but he is not a center, total misuse of his abilities (though I would be surprised to see Lamar in 2012). Certainly the team is stacked at guard, though they are small at the position, but no matter who gets cut I am sure people will have something to say. I think Russell Westbrook and Rajon Rondo are staying, which is slightly surprising as they are both considered 1’s, but I am guessing Russell will play 2 quite a bit, which he can definitely do. So, comes down to Granger, Love, Gordon and surprisingly Curry, who I thought was a lock. Will be interesting to see who goes home, Coach K does not seem to be playing Kevin at all, though he has had some minor injuries I am hearing. If Kevin does not make the team, they will be VERY undersized and I think it could come back to haunt them. No matter who gets cut, they are a great player, but you can only have so many smaller guards, which is why I think Eric Gordon may be the one too go, though he has looked fantastic.
