Milwaukee Bucks - Picks

Milwaukee Bucks - Picks 14-17

Jordan Hamilton

Tobias Harris

Demitri McCamey

I would love to have McCamey as a backup to Jennings. I was skeptical of him coming into this year but I think he'll end up being a very good NBA. His size, decision making and shooting have really impressed me. A wing scorer/playmaker is their biggest need though and Harris and Hamilton would be a good fit.

Here is mine

Jazz

23-28

1)Klay Thompson: If he declares, I think he could come in and take a role similar to what korver did for use in years past. He is a knock down shooter and an all round solid player. He is the type of role player teams look for late in the draft and is a sneaky athlete. he also gives us another young wing to develop behind our ageing wings. He also has the personality and work ethic that fits in perfectly with the jazz orginization. I think best case: Kevin Martin, Worst case: lights up the d league while with the jazz ala Morris Almond

2) Reggie Jackson: I love this kids play. he has a freaky wing spand and is just a solid scorer. He to does a little bit of everything and is a young combo guard. I think if he listened to raja bell he could be a stud defensively.

3) Shelvin Mack: Finally we would gets a back up that doesnt make you constantly hold your breath. Maynor was going to be it. But that didnt fall through. I feel Mack can hit shots, run an offense, and play hard nose d. Classic sloan player.

1. Detroit 2. High 3. best

1. Detroit

2. High

3. best center or a point guard available (really depends on how the balls bounce and who comes out)

4. Stuckey is not a point guard and Ben Wallace, love him but should not be starting, should be in a Birdman role off the bench

Lakeshow 2nd round Nolan

Lakeshow

2nd round

Nolan Smith, Malcolm Lee, Iman Shumpert. (though my dream would be Josh Selby falling somehow.)

LA clearly needs someone who can create for themeselves and others.

Smith-Best Case:Chauncey Billups 2008/Worst Case:Acie Law/Most Likely:Delonte West

Lee-Best Case:Jamaal Crawford/Worst Case:Julius Hodge/Most Likely:Chris Douglas-Roberts

Shumpert-Best Case:Larry Hughes Wizards/Worst Case:Dajuan Wagner/Most Likely:Flip Murray

New York Knicks Pick between

New York Knicks

Pick between 14-20

1. Tobias Harris

I love his game. I think he's my favorite player to watch in college basketball. I don't know who to compare him to, but I would pick Larry Johnson or for the kids Josh Smith. I think he picked the wrong school but that's beside the point. The Knicks need another banger and I feel he'd be a perfect 6th man right away and once Amar'e gets up there, the replacement for Amar'e

2. Jordan Hamilton

Jason Richardson 2.0. He's a scorer, that's what the Knicks need besides Amar'e. I think Hamilton will have some growing pains on defense, but he should be a very wierd mismatch for many players on offense. I think he's a solid rebounder as well, that's just what NY needs next to Fields, who's a great rebounder as well.

3. Jeremy Tyler/ Kenneth Faried

I couldn't pick between the two. Tyler is just potential. I know he might be one of those guys who we all look at and say "Damn, he's a major bust" in 3 seasons, but he might be a good player, even a great player as well. Potential, potential, potential. Sometimes you make those picks

With Faried, he's the opposite. I saw comparisons to Kenyon Martin, how about a more defensive Carl Landry? Players like Faried just seem to play 10-12 seasons for contenders, I wouldn't be super happy with the Knicks drafting him in the teens, but if Melo is coming in the summer, I love this pick.

Who is your favorite team? -

Who is your favorite team?

- Utah Jazz

In what range will they be drafting this year?

- 25 and 55

Who are three prospects you like for your team?

- Jimmer Fredette

Cliched, I know. The Jazz are in dire need of length and rebounding (they're like 28th in the league right now), but they also need a couple shooters BADLY to enliven the flex offense, and Fredette is the best.

- JaJuan Johnson

An athletic shot-blocker is a must, and Johnson is 6-10 with a monster wingspan and he's blocking 2.2 shots per game right now.

- Demetri McCamey

He's an Illini like Deron Williams and he could be a major contributor from day one; has improved his three-point shooting ridiculously this year, hitting 51.6 percent.

Why they fit in with your teams future

I think Johnson might actually be the best long-term fit. The Jazz missed out on some great rebounders/shot-blockers in the last draft (Aldrich, Davis, Sanders), and it's now very apparent that they need someone to intimidate opposing big men on the defensive end. Keith Benson is also an option in that regard.

nice topic

Kings

Most likely at this rate top 5... but will settle for 1-8 and a good second rounder is also helpful for depth purposes

First, is best talent available outside players with position filling: C/PF (Cousins) and SG/PG (Evans)... personally feel we need a distributing PG but there aren't any CP3 or Deron Williams like player in top 5 so aiming for a good PF or SF

Second, I personally would like to get Kyler Singler i know according to the mock so far it would be a BIG reach espcially if we get a top 5 but he seems to have the best skills we need i.e shooting, toughness, defense, and just a good all around player

Third, would be a second rounder and i would like to get another good shooter (dang starting to realize we have people that cant shoot or pass) well Tyreke is gonna drive in or handle most of the time so another player who is ball dominant would not be a good decision espically since Beno is also gonna be staying for about 3 more years so a good player to kick out to wouldnt be bad

^^^ Not sure Singler is gonna

^^^ Not sure Singler is gonna translate to the NBA any better than Casspi. I'd take Kemba if I weren't to fall in love with any of the top5 talent. Otherwise I'd try and trade down and take Demetri. Best fit beside of Evans IMO.

I'd like it if the Bulls were

I'd like it if the Bulls were able to pick up Demetri McCamey. They could use some more strength at the backup point guard and he's a better distributer than Watson. They could bring him off the bench to run the offense and create shots and Watson to put up points, I think he'd be a good fit.

Lakers

22-26

1. Kemba Walker

2.Demetri MaCamey

3. LaceDarius Dunn

I think young point guard that can get buckets, bring energy and has to ability to make plays can help youthanize our squad next year. So I think Kemba walker would be the perfect fit but since he's projected to go a little sooner MaCamey would be the next best thing. LaceDarius is a knock down shooter and can really improve our outside shooting in the course of the triangle.

I can see the larry johnson

I can see the larry johnson comparision for Tobias but i cant see Josh Smith. Josh is much more athletic and not as good of a shooter. Tobias reminds me more and more of Al Harrington. Can play three or four but not really set at either, works hard, nice post game. I really like the LJ one though. not as explosive

Celtics

23-30 in each round

1. Kyle Singler: I know he is projected to be drafted higher, but if he falls, he would fit great with the Celtics. He is tough and competitive and could play right away, and is a better shooter than Marquise Daniels.

2. Jimmer Fredette: Would be able to back up both guard positions and give the second unit a good scoring option who is more consistent that Nate. His defensive liabilities would be masked by the Celtics great team defense, and he could run the pick and roll well with the Cs bigs.

3. David Lighty: He can play defense, pass and handle the ball, and make open jumpers. Seems like the ideal back-up wing. Could play right away as a rookie.

Daprob89 ......Lakers have no

Daprob89 ......Lakers have no first this year, they gave it up in the Vujacic deal. Got the early NJ pick and 3 other late seconds that could be packaged for another higher first possibly. I meant to mention earlier that another guy I'm intrigued with is Marshon Brooks. Anyone have a brief scouting report on him.

LAKERS Don't have a first

LAKERS

Don't have a first round pick, have a second round pick

They pick so far in the second round that the only option is best play available and that player probably wont make the team. So they Won't fit into the team's future. Basically our 2011 picks will be Caracter and Ebanks so our 2011 draft has already happened and im happy with out picks:)

^^^Their is always quality

^^^Their is always quality talent available in the second round and Mitch tends to do far better with those so don't be surprised to see a steal with that NJ second. Even possibly one of those late picks.

Only Lakers guaranteed to be

Only Lakers guaranteed to be back next year are Kobe, Pau, Bynum, LO, Ron, Fish, Blake, Walton. That's 8 we know of. It's more than likely Ebanks and Caracter are brought back next year as the FO is pretty high on both. Let's say we bring back both Brown and Blake. We're at 10. No way does LA bring back both vet bigs as they now know they have to get a younger big my guess would be Kwame coming back. Say 11. Right now that's leaving 2 roster spots open for rookies. And 2-3 rooks to fill a roster and possibly a role would be nice outta the second. Again, I say, there is always quality talent available in the 2nd round, just gotta want to find it. Not to mention LA would be able to save the most money while filling the roster spots which we all know Jerry Buss is all about.

Another cat who if he entered I could see falling to the early 2nd is Will Barton. Extremely high on him. He reminds me of mix between J.R. Smith and Jamaal Crawford.

Washington Wizards 1-5. They

Washington Wizards

1-5. They still have a chance to be a late lottery team if they overcome injuries and start to gel, but if they keep playing like this, they'll definitely be picking in the Top 5.

1. Perry Jones
2. Terrence Jones
3. Jared Sullinger

1. Perry Jones is a good fit for this team because there biggest need is at SF. They need a SF that can score, and I think that Perry Jones can become that player. Yes, he's raw and people question his demeanor, but if he pans out, he can become a special player next to Wall. He's also a good fit because Wall excels in a transition and Jones can because his running mate because he runs so well for his size.

2. Terrence is a good fit for this team because the Wizards need a SF and Jones' incredible ball-handling skills will allow him to make the transition to small forward fairly easy. He's very polished and will be able to contribute right off the bat.

3. Jared Sullinger is a good fit for this team because he's a bruiser, and that's what the Wizards desperately need. He can score in the post and is very tough to guard. I'm hoping that Blatche gets his act together, but if he doesn't, we can just draft Sullinger and move Blatche to the bench or trade him.

Phoenix Suns - provided

Phoenix Suns - provided Sarver doesn't trade yet another pick away.

We are currently down to pick 12th, if Enes Kanter fell from 9th then that would be great. But Kyle Singler would be a good solid pick who could help fill in the minutes that Grant Hill will vacate sooner rather than later. The frontcourt is fairly stacked with Lopez,Gortat, Frye and Arthur so I'd look for an SF or an SG. Alec Burks as a combo forward would come into consideration. If the team went big then Trey Tomkins could give Phoenix the rebounding it has been missing since STAT and Jonas Valanciunas will surely rise up the draft but would be a nice late lottery pick up.
