michaelds911ParticipantOverrated- Most Def Thabeet
Underrated- Even though he’s projected to go high, I think James Harden doesn’t get as much respect and hype as Griffin and Thabeet. He’s getting the Brandon Roy treatment. Scouts know he’s going to be good, but they don’t talk about him a lot because he’s not flashy or ultra-athletic.

jorrye24I think Vazquez is going to be a borderline all-star player in the NBA. I like his game, because even though he isnt very quick or athletic he has alot of size and swag. That will help him out the most as will his all around game. He is underrated to me,and so is Jonny Flynn and Terrence Williams.

Bruce LeeroyParticipantAs long as he keeps up the hard work and can capitalize on his WCC MVP status, Micah Downs should be a solid player. He’s been underrated/under used/under estimated all season because of Austin Daye. He just needs a little more meat on his bones. He’s one of those players that does everything well, has a high basketball IQ and makes everyone on the floor better. Plus having a 7ft wingspan helps in a lot of cases….. Just my $.02 worth.

storm33Participantoverrated:Austin Daye, Hasheem Thabeet
underrated: James Harden, Deshawn Sims
I really think that BOTH Greivis Vasquez and Blake Griffin are legitimate NBA prospects, and I think that Sims, if given another year, will be a legitimate NBA prospect.0 - Posted on: Tue, 03/17/2009 - 7:26pm #143519
billykParticipantunderrated: Steph Curry
overrated: most of the players in the lottery0 - Posted on: Thu, 03/19/2009 - 9:57am #143616
errolt12If Thabeet is a top 3 pick then wat about all the players who have outplayed him? wat is luke harangody who despite thabeet saying he was sorry still put up 20 and 10 on him. Wat his dejaun blair who physically destroyed thabeet twice despite being half a foot shorter than thabeet. Its ridiculous for him to be that high. Now yes he is good on defense but even his rebounding is suspect. It;s not rare to see him get outworked on the boards. and has he ever even learned a post move while being at uconn? i havent seen him use any

WildcatFanParticipantI definitely think Thabeet is overrated. Like you said he has poor post skills. He has no extraordinary range for his size. His rebounding is not what it could be for his size. He does has his defense on his side, but many players can play defense similar to that and are not a top 3 prospect. Jordan Hill is a better scorer, he has much better post moves, and has a good jump shot. Hi averages about 5 points more, an assist more, has less blocks and not as good defensively, but he outscores him while still being almost half a foot shorter than he is. There are many players who are better than he is in my opinion.

thisisgeParticipantOne of the most Underrated Prospect as he put on a show in the MVC Championship Game on CBS where the announcers ran out of words to descibe what they were witnessing. All they could come up with was “O, My. O,My” and “Are you kidding me”?

I just watched the game against Kansas and he really put on a show, nobody could guard him and he scored 37 points. He also can set up his teammates. He also scored 60 points in a game this year . I don’t care what school you go to, 60 points is just amazing.Lester Hudson
An AMAZING scorer, second in the league behind Curry, and a good rebounder and passer.0 - AuthorPosts
