How many prospects on UNC’s team are NBA prospect?

What will Henson’s NBA postion be SF or PF?

Does Strickland have a chance since he has stepped his game up?

right now Henson is clearly a PF. He doesn’t handle the ball or shoot well enough to be a SF. Maybe he will change that in the future. Strickland prob will have to make it through camp. He’s not much of a threat int he half court and has no Point guard skills. They could have three first rounders this year if Henson,Barnes, and Zeller come out. Anyone else would not get drafted

Barnes, Bullock, Henson and Zeller will all play in the league- no doubt there, the other guys

Dexter is too small to play shooting gaurd in NBA and he had no jump shot. He lacks the skills needed to play point guard and really needs to come off the bench.

Leslie McDonald could maybe play his way into the league, but would need to improve over the next 2 years. Has a nice jump shot, but really doesn’t bring much else to the table. Hope he becomes a Danny Green part 2- solid all-around player.

Kendall Marshall is someone I think will play in the NBA- he has a very high basketball IQ and really knows how to run an offense. With 3 more years, I could see him being a solid backup point guard. One of my favorite players on this years team- glad he’s finally starting!

I think Bullock would have really benefited by going to a team with a more structured offense were he could run of screens and catch and shoot. As far as the other prospects they are struggling because of the lack of point gaurdlay. Roy willias offense is based on point gaurd and running the floor i think if harrison barnes and reggie bullock were at duke were its all about structure theyd look alot better but this team has 4 garunteed future first rounders in zeller, barnes, bullock, and henson. Out of those four I only see on that can be more than a role player and thats barnes. I hope he waits til next year to come out because I still think he has grant hill ability he just had to adjust to college.

I know a lot of people will disagree with me on this 1, but Kendall Marshall reminds me of a slow-paced Steve Nash…….JUST HEAR ME OUT BEFORE I GET THE NEGATIVE POINTS……….Steve Nash is a very quick player who plays at a slow pace at times & Marshall reminds me of Nash they way he plays at a slow-pace. By all means Marshall is not a fast/quick player. To me it seems like Nash has slowed his game down a bit although he still has the quickness to blow past defenders.

Now that I spoke my piece take em away if you feel the need.

needs to get healthy- his knee hasn’t been a 100% all year and I think it’s holding him back.

Henson has improved drastically from last year…not doubt about that. But come on, we all know this guy will get KILLED in the nba. At least a guy like Austin Daye is a natural 3 who’s gonna be out on the perimeter. Henson is a natural 4 and just would not hold up in that league. I know about draft on potential blah, blah, blah. But come on, at some point you have the say the projections we’re (the scouts) are making on a kid, are completely out of wack, and way to speculative as to how someone would fair, especially in his 1st contract, the time frame in which the GM’s pick will be mainly evaluated. That’s just asking way too much for this kid. No need for me to go in to the specifics of his game, we’ve all watched him and I know you guys are knowlegdeable about ball. But come on, you just basically going to pay him 1st round money to play in the D-League, when he can develop in college for free. I’m not knocking Henson if he comes out, obviously if you can be a lotto pick, hey make your man kid; its the GM’s/scouts that I’m getting at…

Marshall is going to be a hell’a back up PG in the league

Henson i see alot of Hakeem Warrick

Barnes the jury is still out but i havent gave up on him yet and no plans too.

Zeller reminds me alot of Nenad Krstic.

Bullock will be a solid player because of his scoring….and his underrated D.

    @Scoutguru

I think Henson could be solid. People forget, this is the 2-3 year that he’s been 6-10 and still has to get used to his frame. He has shown some development in the jumper and ball handling. Not the progression you expected, but it’s improving. I think most scouts see him as a 3-4 guy that can come off the bench.

No, it is the progression I’ve expected after watching him his freshman year. He’s been amazing actually and progressed more than I thought he would, but of course my expectations were probably lower than most. Maybe he hasn’t been as good as some other guys expected, pegging him as a one and done lotto pick b4 he dribbled a ball in college. But he’s progressing nicely… I just don’t wanna see him end up like a Brandon Wright man. He can be real good.

Alot of people have had growth spurts and do work from the word go. Those are the sure fire stars/good players. I like the Henson could be a H.Warrick type player. Much more realistic then AK 47 who was a once a AllStar.

You could pretty much go to any of the top 25 teams and have four guys who you can say might play int he NBA one day
