How many Kentucky players do you see making their way into the lottery? Towns is destined to be a top 5, possibly top 3 pick as his game is similar to Aldridge. I believe a team will fall in love with WCS’s defensive potential as a Tyson Chandler clone. Trey Lyles has been getting some love on this sites mocks recently and it is much deserved. He has a very technically sound game. Not an incredible athlete but can step out every once in a while and hit a jumpshot. I could see him playing a Thad Young role in the NBA. Finally Devin Booker can snipe from anywhere. Again he isnt a tremendous athlete but Kyle Korver has made a career out of simply being lethal from long range and i think Booker is the best pure shooter the college game has. I have those four as lottery picks in 2015 when all is said and done. I am interested in hearing what you guys think of theirs, and the rest of Kentuckys young guys draft outlook this year…

I got the same 4 in the lotto. Lyles stock still seems a bit uncertain. This site has him at 12, yet DX has him in the 20s. I think he returns if he doesn’t feel he’s a lock to be a lottery pick.

Towns will be a 2-way stud. Booker’s short arms scare me alittle, but he’s finishing around the rim and is hyper efficent from everywhere. Lyles mid-range shooting and passing as a PF warrants a lotto pick. WCS sucks on O, but his defense and athletism continues to shine.

Dakari’s tools suck but he’s young, draws a ton of fouls and rebounds well. I’m not high on him but someone will select him at the bottom of the first/early second if he declares.

My ranking of UK prospects :
    Towns
    WCS
    Lyles
    Booker
    Ulis
    Dakari
    Aaron Harrison
    Marcus Lee
    Poytress
    Andrew Harrison

Tyler Ulis will play in the league.

You are right dude. Tyler Ulis just gets it. People are going to start to realize that Andrew is a 2 just like his brother. He at this point  thinks he is a scoring PG like he has been all his life, but he has 10 NBA players to play with now so its time to distribute. Ty understands that, and every game i see more CP in him.

towns and wcs seem to be no doubters…

lyles and booker are going to be close calls in my opinion.  i have porzingis in my top 10.  so it’ll come down to lyles, harrell and portis for next off the board.  it’ll probably come down to workouts.

i could see atlanta and okc taking booker because hawks love shooters and okc has depth to develop a young guard.  i guess that’ll come down to workouts as well.  okc is probably also going to be looking at a backup pg to replace reggie jackson.

Ty is a 4 year player to me. Hes a solid college PG. I think the Harrisons were overrated in HS. It sucks because everyone thought they were these great players, turns out they arent really that great. Love WCS, top 10 player. Towns of course is top 5. Dakari is a body who could step in, like a Henry Sims type without the jumper.

i agree about towns in the top 3..wcs might go as high as 5 depends on which team is picking 5th..i like lyles alot,if he was playing somewhere else he’s be mentioned as a top 10 pick….booker might slip into the late lottery, lately he’s putting the ball on the deck and driving much more….

andrew could be a surprise ,sometimes he looks like the 2nd coming of brandon roy(like in the recent game against georgia). and in some games he’s doesnt seem focused, isnt aggressive and too passive…going to a veteran team could help him…

johnson is a good rebounder & shot blocker /can score inside..i see him going in the late teens to early 2nd round…

I don’t like Kentucky at all, but I’d love to see Lyles and Booker stay another year because I think they could both put up between 14-18 points per and be top 10 guys a year from now. I’m not a recruiting expert but I don’t believe Kentucky has as loaded a class coming in next year and if Towns, the Harrisons, Johnson and WCS all leave, they could be feature players.

As it stands, Booker is really impressive but he looks small to me. That could be because everybody else is so freaking big that he looks smaller but I wouldn’t be surprised if he measured out around 6’3.5 or so, which isn’t great size. I could see him going between 12-18 or so. Towns could go as high as 2, WCS could go as high as 5 I think, but probably goes 6-10, and Lyles could be in the same range as Booker.

Kentucky so far has commitments from the #1 rated PG, the #1 rated Center on some recruiting services and a 4-star 2-guard.  #1 class at this moment and still not done. Booker’s role likely will remain the same if he returns. Lyles may increase, though.

Booker measured in at 6"6 wih a 6"6 wingspan at the Kentucky combine they had before the season.

haha I forgot about the pro day deal for Kentucky…so Booker is that tall. imaboutthataction boxed me good on that one.

Granted lets assume Towns, Stien, Johnson, Harrisons all leave. Kentuckys starting five would be:

    Ulis

    Briscoe

    Booker

    Lyles

    Skal

With a bench of Poythress, Lee and any other tops guys they get because they’ll most likely get at least two more top recruits…My guess would be Malik Newman and Diallo are likely gets.

I think Booker leaves. Newman is leaning towards UK and he’s starting wherever he goes.

      Cash in while you’re hot.
