You want to talk about an instant change…..Bird is gone and Donnie ‘blow up the Knicks’ Walsh is in….coincidence, I think not.

is a very good fit for Indiana. Athletic Big Men who isn’t soft (like McRoberts who they shipped out). It was their only draft pick so their is no such thing as a reach for them. Take the player you want cuz they didn’t get a second chance.

This was a reach because there were several better players at his position that were available. I’ve tried to fight the "Indiana feels bad when they don’t draft white players" stereotype in the past, but it gets harder every year.

Before Hansbrough it was in the 2nd round of 2005 the last time they drafted a white player.  I find it hard to see a team boasting an all black starting 5.  Not to mention of all the players gettting more than 20 minutes per game only 2 out of 11 of them were white.

Get over it it’s not true, they always liked Plumlee as a replacement for Jeff Foster.  I don’t think a team with 4 white players ( 2 playing under 6 minutes per game ) makes a stereotype.  They drafted their core players too, Danny Granger, Paul George, Roy Hibbert, A.J. Price and Lance Stephenson.
