 News flash: Kobe is playing hero ball right now, He looks like he’s gonna score 50 every game and the Lakers still lose, why, they just don’t care right now. Come April and playoff time then they will start winning. oh and let’s see how he is doing towards that 50 right now: 9:22 left in the 2nd and he only has 7 points. Don’t think so. If he was gonna score 50 he’d be in double figures by now. True he can score a ton of points in a quarter but that doesn’t necessarily mean he’ll score fifty or that the Lakers will win. And besides they’re playing the Suns, the team that is known for no defense. He could score 50, AND IT WOULD NOT MATTER, because many players can score 50 against the Suns. That was off his early 7 points and Odom’s intensity. I will concede the argument "Kobe for 50" for the time being. but the Kobe has nothing to do with them being flat out hustled, which happens often now a days… looks like complacency is starting to set in… especially with Artest… He looks… happy to be there. In his mind he probably has nothing left to prove. And Odom’s always been hit and miss, but they aren’t playing with the poise or intensity of last year….

But its only a rough patch. When they’ve won 7 straight will I deserve to slapped? Or are you saying Kobe isnt that kind of leader, and rough patches should be expected for the rest of the year?

This isn’t a rough patch for the Lakers, they’re losing to teams that have the better records, i think Chicago is the best team they’ve beaten and they were minus Boozer. And they haven’t really played many games against the other elite teams. They’ve had an easy schedule, and as the Suns are showing, when you run small on the Lakers they had a lot of difficulty defending you.

 Uhh Big D did you not look at the lakers schedule recently. They got DESTROYED by MEMPHIS. The Grizzlies. Last time I checked the Grizzlies aren’t even at the 500 mark and the Lakers are much better then them, and the Grizzlies wiped the floor with them. They were even playing WITHOUT GAY and they STILL destroyed the Lakers. I think we all know that something is wrong with them. But that topic has been discussed like 20 times here. I think Rude Boy had a top 10 of what is wrong with the Lakers and one of the items was, "the Lakers are bored."  I agree 100% and think they will start to sharpen their game post all-star break.
