UCLA vs VIllanova, who wins
We'll beat you like we did 2 years ago....Fisher, Stokes, Pena are all back from that team. Your guards have no prayer at stopping Fisher and Wayns. I know you have Josh Smith and besides that I don't know you're other big men, but we'll probably just run Smith to death. Truth hurts, but you have to live with it.

He can say hi all he wants, I just hope he doesn't try to bang with Yarou because he might break....who are UCLA's guards? I know Lee who is garbage in his own right, but who else do you have. I'm seeing some records breaking from Fish and Wayns.
haha, check out this guy named lazeric jones. He was the number 1 juco pg in the nation last year from chicago. He is currently averaging 12 ppg and 4 apg while shooting 52% from the field. He's arguably better then lee. ANd to think our backcourt is our weak point. Our frontcourt will clown you guys.
I have UCLA winning this game. Yarou hasn't played that well so far and he will struggle against Smith and Nelson.

yeah, so long ago. ANd by so long ago i mean we were in the 2008, 2007, 2006 final 4's. The WHole 2 years since we have merely won 1 tournament game while producing more nba players then any other college in america. And dont bother waiting for us to bounce back, becasue we already are back right now. You'll see in 7 days.

UCLA fans live in the past - Nova fans live in the present.....one day...oneeee day UCLA will be ranked again, it might not be this year, but somewhere in the future you guys are sure to be top 25 again...trust me
Villanova is probably going to beat UCLA. I expect them to win by about 6 or 7.
Villanova's guard play is too good, and even though they don't have any low post scorers really, Yarou, Sutton and those guys all are outstanding post defenders. I think Fisher, Wayns and Cheek on the perimeter will just be too much in this matchup.

DOnt think i actually like your villanova guys as pro prospects. Allan ray is the rep of villanova guards in my book, all college nothign in the real league.
I hope you show up after the game is over to man up and admit your team aint on ucla's level. Ratings are so overrated the first few weeks. We'll see whats up on the court. But do yourself a favor and keep your eye on honeycutt so you can see what a real nba prospect looks like. Gotta be hard when kyle lowry is your best example of villanova excellence.
I know i'm going to enjoy watching the great UCLA program vs the weak and mediocre Nova program.....I will be there, i'm going to try and touch Honeycutt so I can know what greatness feels like. I wonder if we can cancel, because we have no shot. I might just go for the VCU/Tennessee game to see who we're going to play in the consolation game.
I think the game will be down to how well the UCLA guards play defensively. And i believe in Ben Howland's D will show up, so im picking UCLA. UCLA front should dominate Villanova's front court because Josh and Nelson are just simply too physical. Tyler Honeycutt is a good all around player that would create problem for Villanova's D. Malcom Lee might not be the player he was hyped up for when he was in high school but hes not bad defensively. If he comes back next week, and play good D on either fisher or wayn, UCLA should have a very good chance.
I'm obviously biased but come on Nova is a laugher. Theres a reason Villanova is ranked as highly as they are and I think they are only going to rise. They had a talented roster last year too and if not for the problems in the locker room, they would have been back in the final four. Novas guards are so much better than UCLA's. I used to be a big time advocate of Malcolm Lee but he continuously disappoints. Nova also has depth at the position outside of Fish and Wayns with Cheek and Stokes. All four of those guards are better than any guards on UCLA. I think the bigs are pretty even though. As far as the bigs I don't think there is a big difference. Honeycutt is a nice player but he's too skinny to hang with the Nova bigs. He'll get his though. Reeves Nelson is better than Antonio Pena only because he can extend the floor a little further with his shooting ability. There really isn't that much else different about them. Yarou is a more advanced version of Josh Smith. Sutton adds extra depth to the bigs with another 6"11 body. He can have periods where he takes over but for the most part is forgotten about on the court. Overall its not close due to the guard play which is huge in college basketball. If UCLA had a huge advantage in the Frontcourt I would think it would be a closer game but I think its going to be an easy Nova win. Once JayVaughn Pinkston is back with the team and James Bell starts going, watch out for this team. Oh ya and don't forget Russell Wooten, 4th year senior, straight beast.

VIllanova is ranked 7th while bruins are unranked. villanova are getting their hype and pub while bruins are under the radar. But lets see who wins in a week form now when they meet up. Both teams are gonna go into the game with 3-0 records. Its on a neutral court. Who do you guys got and why?
