jeff416ParticipantShould be a interesting game, but I’m picking UCLA to win.

llperezhoneycutt looked aggressive out of the gates scoring 2 buckets in the first minute getting my hopes up but hasnt shot since, still early. UCLA up 10-8.

FastAndFuriousParticipantI need Kalin to come alive man……

llperezbruins are really forcing it inside. Its leading to some turnovers since michigan state is packing th epaint, but when the ball does get in there ucla bigs are getting it done. 24-11 ucla right now.

llperezyoungdave, you a spartan fan or did you just pick them?
0 - Posted on: Thu, 03/17/2011 - 3:57pm #510774
jeff416ParticipantUCLA’s looking like they will blowout Michigan State.

HaleParticipantGo UCLA! There too big for MSU and Lee is playing well.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 03/17/2011 - 3:58pm #510776
FastAndFuriousParticipantIm from Detroit bro lol Ima Spartan fan played against Kalin, Durrell and Appling.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 03/17/2011 - 4:00pm #510777
llperez@jeff, dont start calling a blowout, ucla cant shoot consistently from the perimiter and if michigan state can force jumpers the bruins go into some huge offensive droughts.

jeff416ParticipantLol, I’m not calling a blowout. UCLA is just looking good early on.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 03/17/2011 - 4:04pm #510779
llperezbiggest unmentioned improvement for ucla this season has been the improved play from backup pg jerime andersen. He has pulled a 180 this season and is their smartest most under control player.

FastAndFuriousParticipantI dont get Durrell Summers……plays soooo well post season…..12pts right now for state keepin them in it somewhat….but cant find him at all during the season…..weird.

llperezi got ucla winning it over duke for the title.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 03/17/2011 - 4:20pm #510785
llperez42-24 ucla at the half. Michigan state has nothing working on offense and ucla is absoultely dominating the paint. Kalin lucas hasnt done anything yet.

Malik-UniversalParticipantwtf MSU???
this shit is annoying… the hole yr for them has been a huge, utter dissapointment… no inside scorers… stupid jump shots… lucas cant hit anything… payne doesnt know any posts moves… roe has little offense… nix and sherman are useless at this pt. becuz of josh smith’s fat ass (i like josh smiths talent btw) all summers wants to do is shoot 3’s tho he is a very good athelte and should try SLASHING MORE!!!!
is state even trying??
cuz this is pissing me off a lot… we were number 2 ranked in the preseason for nothing basically
and i dont think ucla is that good.. but i give them credit for whooping our ass in that first half

llperezsmith and honeycutt will be first round picks. Lee and nelson could end up second rounders and end up having nba careers. I wouldtn say ucla isnt that good, they are just inconsistent becasue they are so young and have no seniors.

PureshooterParticipantCrap!! I had MSU winning a couple. They have talent and I figured Izzo would get them motivated to turn things around in the tournament, but apparently not.

Malik-UniversalParticipanthoneycutt reminds of what julian wright was supposed to be
and smith is an overweight center but moves good… i like his potential.. still raw on offense tho

llperezspartans on a run to satart the second half.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 03/17/2011 - 4:52pm #510797
FastAndFuriousParticipantUCLA is a decent team, c’mon let’s not overdo it here.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 03/17/2011 - 4:53pm #510798
llperezwhos overdoing it? I said the nba prospects of the current players and thats it.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 03/17/2011 - 5:03pm #510802
llperezoh yeah, unless you are talking about picking them to win it all, thats just me being a fan lol.

SteroidParticipantJosh Smith is fucking huge. He looks like an NFL offensive lineman out there playing basketball, lol.

Sasha4MVPParticipantI think UCLA has the chance to go far in this tournament. They get up for big teams and it will be interesting to see how they play against Florida *knocks on wood*. Next year they will definitely be ranked in the top 10 as long as all of their core players return, coupled with the addition of the Wear twins.
0 - Posted on: Thu, 03/17/2011 - 5:13pm #510814
llperezjosh smith was a tight end catching passes and running routs his senior year of highschool. That helps with his soft hands and foot work.

Dale WorthingtonParticipantDamn, turned into a squirter.
I really hope UCLA beats Florida on Saturday.
