llperezcan’t wait. I have a ton of respect for florida’s squad and i know the bruins better be on top of their games to win. The bruins have a great offense and will feature the two best individual talents in the upcoming game with kyle anderson and jordan adams. But florida has 2 fantastic gaurds and the front line is dominant on the glass and defensively where ucla is weakest. Luckily tony parker has looked really solid in these two tourny games so far and he should see more minutes to provide size inside.
Ucla is really hot as a team right now. Blew through stanford and oregon by 20+ each in the pac 12 tourny and both those teams have looked solid in the tourny with oregon blowing a double digit second half lead to fall to wisconsin and stanford of course is on to the sweet 16. Then ucla took down zona for the pac 12 title. now they have 2 more lopsided victories to start the tourny.
The starting perimter trio of adams, anderson and powell are all playing really well. Adams is averaging 20, powell is averaging 16 and anderson is stuffing the stats with 12 points 7 rebounds and 6 assists per game.
So what do you guys think about the upcoming game?

King CaluchaParticipantAnderson plays so effortlessly. Such a fantastic playmaker.
Florida is a really tough team, though. It’s a must-see!

llperezhe hasnt played like a lotto pick at all but his whole thing is about potential. in his defense, the team has so many perimter guys that have talent that he pretty much just takes a back seat. even alford has more of a leash to do his own thing. zach needs another year. But his speed and athleticism and how quickly he pulls up for his jumper off the dribble defenitely a lotto pick eventually. Just my opinion.

tuck243ParticipantBut even when Kyle & Adams were out he didn’t produce…

Dale WorthingtonParticipantThis one’s gonna be a gun fight, not unlike Wichita State/Kentucky.
UCLA is fantastic at the point and on the wing and obviously their weakness is in the post, particularly on the offensive glass. Fortunately for UCLA, Young, Yeguete, and Finney-Smith come and go down low. At times very good, at times non-active. So who knows? It’s gonna go down to the final seconds.
I’m just sad VCU blew it against Stone Cold Stephen F. Austin.
VCU’s elite 3-point and pressure defense would have been very interesting to watch against UCLA’s elite perimeter offense.
