    Team USA:

There was a free stream for this game, so this was the only game I saw throught the tournament, but have been reading a lot of updates. Team USA won handily. Only caught the 2nd half, so this is what I got:

Heard Jabari Parker was dragging his foot, so he didn’t play much in the 2nd half.

Jahlil Okafor is a very polished back-to-the-basket player. I’m sure he’ll get Sullinger comparison, but he’s taller and longer (nh). His body looks pretty good too compared to how it was a few yrs ago (nh).

I like Tyus Jones. He’s a pretty smart PG w/ poise and a great handle, even though his decision-making was a little off today. Lack elite size and quickness though.

Conner Frankamp can stroke it! Has NBA range and was J’ing off spot-ups and off-the-dribble.

BeeJay Anya is overrated. In all the games I’ve seen, he’s basically been non-existant on the floor. He’s fat, unathletic, doesn’t have much of an offensive game, and has a poor motor. What makes him a great prospect? His long arms?

    Australia:

Dante Exum is a talent, but he’s more of a scorer than a PG, and his jumper looks ugly. Reminds me of Barbosa.

All of the Aussies jumpers looked ugly. I don’t know what they’re teaching over there.

Jabari Parker was limping all over the court, I don’t have any idea why he was allowed to play. He could run like 60% of normal speed, hopefully he will be healthy ’till Peach Jam.

Okafor has great footwork and really moves very well as a guy of his size, finishes inside incredibly well with his soft touch. Still has to continue to work getting in the best shape he possibly can.

Agree, about Tyus Jones really interesting point guard with one of the best handle I have ever seen, also he is years younger than most of the players in the world’s championship, born in 1996 May 10th. Coner Frankamp definitely can shoot the lights out but he is a PG, didn’t much of it.

Hezonja is incredible talent with great size and athletism for a 2. What is really interesting his shooting mechanics are just as Drazen Petrovic’s, no wonder he is called the next Petrovic by some people. Despite his physical gifts and great overall talent I didn’t like his attitude, at least in game for 3rd place. He didn’t look really interested in playing and his shot selection didn’t look good.

I was really impressed with Dante Exum, while he has ways to go as a shooter, his athletism and length are elite. Reads passing lanes exceptionally well, amazing body control, very good finisher, very quick with the ball, good ball handler, can go coast to coast, high basketball IQ, I can say only positive things about him as a prospect except his inability to shoot obviously.

I watched the game in the arena and I was very impressed by Justise Winslow. He is very smooth on offense, plays good D and makes good decisions on the court.
