i still believe hes a 2 but this kinda makes you think a little bit0 - Posted on: Mon, 09/28/2009 - 1:15pm #217190
JNixonParticipantI still dont think Tyreke Evans is a PG.lol. Derrick Rose isnt a great playmaker for others yet, but he is a better playmaker than Evans. He also is far less turnover prone. Evans had a poor assist/turnover ratio for a PG, especially a PG thats an NBA prospect.

youngmagParticipantLet the man play in a NBA game before you judge his skill.
He had to score at Memphis to win games.
He got enough handle to be a PG.
Now I am not saying he will be a great PG but i want to see how he does first before I judge him.
People didn’t think Westbrook was going to be able to play the point now he is up there with Rose for up and coming PG’s in

whiteflashParticipantYou know, I just don’t see Evans being that good. I know he killed it in the summer league and he obviously comes in with an outstanding pedigree, but I just don’t see it. He’s not that athletic, he doesn’t shoot that well, he has to have the ball in his at all times to be even remotely effective and as was pointed out he’s really turnover prone. I’m not saying he’ll be a bust, but I don’t see him ever being more than a pretty good player.

youngmagParticipantUr a 6’5 pg who gets to the rack at will and has crazy handles very strong frame he will be good he will be top 5 pg in the league I can see it happening he has too much upside an skill and he is getting a pg spot handed to him he will learn.
