Did you guys read that Tyler Smith is returning this season yet? I think this is the right move. He could really have a lot of potential with a successful senior season and i think it will help his draft stock in the long run. Another guy who i really think should return is BJ Mullens even though I don’t think he will. He really needs to develop some post moves and polish his defensive IQ. Another one that comes to mind is Dejuan Summers. Tell me what you think.

dlipto11- Tyler Smith kind of had a disappointing year this season in college. I guess I was just expecting him to really dominate. I think he had a bad hamstring for much of the year which probably bothered him. I have seen Tyler play in person and had the privilege to meet him (not that that makes me special). I believe Tyler has a good head on his shoulders and has plenty of skill. I think he made the smart decision by returning to school. He was a fringe first round pick. I think with one more solid year in college he will work his way into being a lock for the 1st round. I expect him to have a huge year this upcoming season. Tennessee should make a pretty deep tourney run.

RUDEBOY- I hope you are right. I want to see a ton of trades on draft night. I also think this draft is really underrated.

I agree. i think his athleticism seemed a little off this year probably due to the hamstring. but next year i think hell really learn to lead the team vocally. one thing that does concern me though, whats the deal with the teardrop tattoo? now i know we had a whole conversation on how tattoos don’t mean anything but doesn’t that usually mean hes killed someone? i looked up his tattoo online and i couldn’t really find anything substantial about it so its probably nothing. just something to think about.

I think Smith should have left last year, he would have gone early 20’s.

Yeah Smith didn’t look very athletic at all this year but he seemed to really dominate his sophmore year. I’m thinking it had to be the injury holding him back.

every time I tried to watch smith and the vols play this season smith did not impress me. Before the games I would always talk smith up, every game it was dissapointment. He needs a beter season this year or a mid second -late second is in his future next year. (show improvement on shooting and defense). If he has a solid season i think 18-30 is when he will be selected next season.

He will not fall much because of Jordan. Jordan was a steal in the second round and should have gone higher. Mullens will not have that happen. Also he has stayed away from the red flags the Jordan had.

I never new that tear drop tatoo was about that. I thought he was a “thug” for it. I no I will get some shit for that comment.
