tu holloway has been playing extremely well since the a-10 tournament.  this guy was once a preseason all-american on numerous sites.  it seemed after the ugly cinncinati fight incident xavier really struggled, but now seem to be on a roll lead by holloway.  anyway this guy sneaks into the draft?  even though the draft is really strong, it seems like the pg position is rather weak.

There’s no reason to believe he shouldnt be drafted in the second round. Probably not a first rounder though.

he’s not too small, has a great handle, and hits bombs. If you need a PG in the second round theirs not alot of guys that should go before him.

The problem is, he’s not a PG. I watch a lot of Xavier games since I’m in the area. Tu Hollway will not be a good NBA player. I’ve said to my friends that he might be a good Euro player.

The guy is a black hole. Everytime he gets the balls he looks for a shot. You can safely say when he gets the ball "Ok Tu’s about to jack up a fadeaway" Sometimes they go in, sometimes they don’t. The kid thinks he’s Iverson out there. He’s a SG to the definition but he’s too small. Nice handles, nice shot but literally no other aspect to his game IMO. If he was taller I think he could be good, but there’s no way he plays PG in the NBA. I honestly think he should just stay in school.

It’s Obvious that you are a Tu Holloway Hater, And there are plenty of you out there. If you knew anything about Tu, you would have first known that he is a Senior, and has already played 4 years for Xavier, so you  honestly wouldn’t think he should stay in school. As far as shot attempts, Tu is following the direction of Coach Chris Mack, and Xavier Coaching to be more of an aggresive scorer, and the teams #1 scoring option.. Tu is, and has alway been a True Point Guard. If you’ve truly watched Xavier games you would know that. Some one needs to tally up how many Possible Assists were Not converted into FG’s.  I’d Bet you anything , over the course of 4 Years, Tu would be leading in that category. You must be a Notre Dame Fan, Still Wondering How that Fadeaway Tu "Jacked Up" Over 6-9 / 248 lb Jack Cooley with 21 seconds left went in, the one that Crushed the Irish on the eve St. Patricks Day. Maybe your a Purdue Boilermaker Fan, Who Felt the Wrath Of Tu and Those back to back Clutch 3’s he hit after leading his team to a victory after being down by 19. His College career is filled with clutch shots. Tu Came in as a freshman and went 10-10 from the line to beat Memphis. Theres no Question whether or not Tu Holloway is Ready for the NBA. The Question is Wheather or not The NBA is Ready for Tu Holloway?

He’s a heck of a college player, but the problem is he’s only 5’11" 190 pounds. Also, he’s not that athletic., so those two aspects limit his NBA potential. However, he should still be a 2nd round pick because a good offensive player with a pretty nice jumper and has shown good intensity and leadership skills. If I were to guess where he’d be selected, I’d say 45-60, with maybe like a 30% chance he goes undrafted.

IMO, I think he has to get a chance, dude has been really solid the last 3 years, and has never ever gotten the recognition he deserves, BIG TIME player and comes up HUGE in the clutch, not an elite athlete but he knows how to play the game and while he is a jacker, he has to do that for that Xavier team to have a chance to win basketball games.

For christ sakes the dude averaged 19.7 PPG, 5.4 APG, 5.0 RPG last year

Shot 35% from the 3 last year

Averaged 1.5 steals per last year

    Xavier went 26-8 last year

And u barely even heard about the guy, all you heard about was Jimmer,Kemba,Kendall(When he started playing),Kyrie,Knight,Selby….etc.

This year before the brawl Xavier was I believe #8 in the country and Tu was averaging 17.7 PPG, 4.8 APG, 3.8 RPG, and had HUGE games against Vandy(#18 in the country at that point) 24pts,5ast,4rebs and Purdue 21pts,4rebs,4ast.

But he still didn’t get any respect, all you heard was at this point in the season……Teague,Marshall,Napier,Appling,Rivers,Casper Ware,Lillards hype was beginning, etc….never Holloway.

And he also played a huge role his sophomore year when Xavier was hot in the tourney, dude still didn’t get any love.

Regardless of if he’s an NBA player or not, dude has never gotten the respect he deserves, maybe not from a prospect standpoint, but from stats and performances he has argubaly been a top 5 guard in the country the last 2 years, and hasn’t gotten close to the respect he deserves.

I feel he doesn’t get anywhere near the respect he deserves.

Reminds me a lot of Isaiah Thomas out of Washington last year (but more appropriately sized for the NBA) in his demeanor on the court. He’s shoot first ask questions later PG who can absolutely carry a team. He’s done this in the tournament before (two years ago his backcourt mate was slinger Jordan Crawford, Kansas St vs. Xavier was the greatest tourney game I have ever watched from start to finish) and now he’s showing that he can do it himself. He’s a true competitor has great handles can score from anywhere in the court, drive in the lane with ease and has the strength, athletecism and skills to back it up. He’ll carve out a niche wherever he ends up..

Has the look of a solid second rounder..

haha I get negged cuz I actually watch the games and you guys are just looking at the stats. Whatever, you should truly watch the game tonight and see what I’m talking about. He’s not NBA talent.

I don’t know why I thought he was a junior. I’m not a purdue fan, I used to be a xavier fan. Tu holloway "we got gangsters in this locker room" made me dislike them more. He’s no gangster…. and Tu holloway isn’t even the best nba prospect on his team to me. Dez Wells has a better shot I feel.

The only NBA prospects we will see in that game all play for Baylor and if Baylor comes ready to play this could be a blow out

You Got Negged Because you Personally don’t like Tu Holloway. Which is alright. (Kobe, Jordan, Lebron, all rank high amongst the most hated NBA Stars.) But your dislike should not cloud the Facts. The Facts are Tu Holloway Has The Heart, The Will to Win, and The Toughness the make an impact in the NBA.Tu Has More Clutch moments in his 4 Years at Xavier, than Some NBA players have in thier entire careers. There is a rare quality that only few ball players that I have watched Posses. That Killer Instinct, The Ability to Step Up and and put the team on his back. the ability to make the players around him better. Ask Any One who has Played with or against Tu Holloway and they will tell you,. Tu Holloway is NBA Ready.
